UConn also has another freshman in Edwards a 6ft 3in forward that scored 18 points today.

Edwards does not usually start. There point guard is injured is why she started.

That's part of it, Edwards would be a freshman star at most programs, but is willing to sit on the bench to play at UConn, sort of like Kia Stokes

grew up wrestling....basketball was never my thing other than watching the Hawks....I’ve probably seen 90 percent of the men’s games since 1980..... I’ve kind of enjoyed watching the Iowa women play more than the men the last few years..... they leave it all out there and Bluder is similar to Ferentz as far as being such a good fit for Iowa.... an iconic coach.....Brands is the best coach at Iowa though 😉

Top 1-8 play their own tourney every year and the loser gets demoted to the 9-XX tourney. That way you have the champions level tourney and the actual college athletes tourney. 2 NCAA tourneys.

(Yes this is a sarcastic post, but seriously this is why people don’t tune into NCAAW bball. There is no parity and it’s the same teams every year)

That is why you think people dont watch women's basketball (or any other women's sports?)
