Why do they never have anything you might want but always have 11 options of energy drinks?

The company that stocks my work machines took the final non-carbonated caffeine drink, Starbucks Cold Brew, and replaced with a 10th energy drink, Bang.

Happy Thursday.

And before anyone pushes up their nerd glasses and says "uhhhh why don't you bring your own, it's cheaper?" I do. I just forgot it on my counter this morning.

I miss those old school vending machines that dispensed cups of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. They were awesome.

True story....when I worked at a factory 25 years ago, someone bought a sammich out of the vending machine and replaced it with a box of condoms.
Back then, no one had security cameras in the cafeteria.

Shit hit the fan and we had a plant meeting the next day.
I was kind of a prankster back then and actually was a suspect.
My response..."Why in hell would a 45 year married man buy rubbers?
My supervisor was a stupid fvck.

as an aside, when i logged in to pay a cc bill there were a bunch of charges (for different days) from the soda vending machine at my workplace for 8-9 bucks each...supposed to be 1.50 or therabouts so i was pissed. then i noticed they were pending charges which stayed on the card for about 5 days before finalizing at the 1.50
so why do these machines put pending charges of 6 times drink cost?

Sounds about right,.. You'd have to go back at least 25 years for a box of condums to create a commotion.

Some vendors let you buy multiple items with a single swipe. Maybe it holds the max amount you can buy per swipe, the reconciles later what you actually got. Just a guess.

We also said low hand buys, hell we would get stuff just for “The Action”.

There are a butt load of energy drinks in the machines now because that is what the younger crowd likes.
