Oakland University of Horizon league was on ESPN2 Friday night. Court is so dark on TV you would swear some of the lights were not functioning.

And while we're talking about worst NCAA 'floors', the floor they use for the B1G Tourney needs a huge update/upgrade. That 'hoop of flags' as the center court logo is so lame and uninspired. Its been YEARS of the same thing at the postseason tourney, conference, change it up a little bit!


On the opposite end of the spectrum, a floor I think looks really cool and sleek on TV?

The one they use for the Mountain West Tournament, in Vegas. Understated, in terms of the lack of loud colors, yet classy.

Oregon court is fantastic in live game view---TV doesn't do it justice.


I saw the NIT battle Oregon vs Iowa and Devyn Marble went off in 1st half and then they just went flat.

I love some floors, with lots of colors and images going on - IE, not plain jane - but even I would call that surface an eye sore.

I wish Iowa would have the flying hawk from 3pt line to 3pt line. Not sure how to explain it, but have it be a lighter image in the background so it doesn't overpower the floor.
