Would Spencer Lee win an Olympic gold this year...

I talked to coaches from the WPIAL. That stands for "Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League". That's where Gavin Teasdale wrestles, in district 7 in Pennsylvania, which is the Pittsburgh suburban area. I have good friends at other schools, such as Hampton, Canon-MacMillan, Moon Township, Avella, Trinity, and 3 other schools. Everyone I know who follows the sport and coaches the sport, says it will take Teasdale at least 4 years to become a LEGIT 133 pounder who is not giving up size and strength to other real 33 pounders who are pulling weight to get there. Walking around at the weight, is not the same thing, ask Jimmy Gulibon, who sacrificed by moving up, and ended up wrestling every single match, out sized.

4 years, minimum. Again, the kid is an elite talent, but he is not a 133 pounder, and won't be for quite some time.
You sure use the word "Good Friends" in your post lightly. I'm sure they don't consider you a friend, more like a pimple on the end of your noise that is ready to pop.

LMAO, I call BOTH Teasdale and Lee, "elite" wrestlers, one of which has a legit chance to become a 4 time champion, keeping in mind neither has wrestled a collegiate match, and I claim that Teasdale will have a hard time making 133 by his freshman year, and YOU claim Mason has a "bad attitude" haha.

And I'M the troll...whatever amigo.
Actually I said terrible.

And how many schools changes during high school. 2 or 3?

Man it must be rough when Manville is an afterthought in a teams recruiting class and plans. To me the PSU culture seems like it is at a point where it can take risks on kids like Manville, much like Iowa has been at points in the past, without worrying about him being a flake and negatively influencing the team culture. Frankly, I am not even sure it is a fair thing to say about him since all he has done is transfer and was a bad sport after a couple matches and apologized.

Don't get me wrong I hope he comes into the team and destroys their whole team chemistry and transfers and takes a couple guys with him, but the kid wins a lot and is he really that big of a risk?

Your living proof that it is possible to be so ignorant that you do not know how ignorant you are. Your a waste so it's time to put you on "ignore".

My guess is that Lee and Teasdale will both be ranked higher nationally coming out of HS than TG and CC were. Do you disagree?

You say Lee needs 48 months to get to an optimal weight, I claim he needs only 44 months, a difference of roughly 8%. Is there really anything to argue about here?

I'm afraid this went right over his tiny little head. Reasoning does not seem to be his strong suit. The rest of us, however, got a good chuckle.

He did.

But not the last time they wrestled. And Lee is a year younger.

Yeah, he beat Lee when Lee was in eighth grade, by stealing it away on a last second takedown after having been dominated.

The next year Lee again dominated the match and won. At this point, by my count, Lee leads riding time 4:15 to :20.

Thom -- I'm also from Western PA. While 157 may be a stretch, I think Teasdale has a much higher probability of wrestling 149 his freshman year than he does 125.

21 Guns -- You need to give it up and find another cause to die for. This whole board is giving you a salute, and they are not firing rifles.
My post was part joke.

Have to rate this the most butt hurt, ridiculous post I've seen in a long time, maybe ever! You have no clue as to what Teasdale's growth rate will be. This is a post that needs to be archived so we can remind you how ignorant you are in the next year, because it won't take four years to prove you're an idiot.

Who would have repped USA at that weight in 2000, 2004 ect.....

My money would have been on TJ Hill. Was an AA for Cal Fullerton in 2000, but dude could have made the 105 weight.

I wrestled at 98lbs as a freshman and walked around at 155 as a senior in high school. All height and muscle weight. I wrestled up at 98 too. Sixty pounds in about three years of good weight.

Why is that I now have this visual image of Gavin Teasdale as a redshirt freshman at Iowa, standing on a podium for 165 lb placers? Weird.

This is impossible to know. I have no idea what other stud 105 pounders any other country would have.
Mother Russia just called. She said (in her thick Russian accent),"we have many 105 lb young men who do nothing but train, eat borscht, drink vodka, and beat Americans at Freestyle Wrestling".

Suriano wins 4-3 with a last second TD over 8th Grade Lee

Lee wins 3-1 a year later

Lee dominates the mat wrestling, and has 2 TD's to Surianos 1 over the series, despite being younger and smaller.

I just watched this match for the first time... Holy Santa Claus shit did Lee ever get the shaft or what?! Locked hands??? No backs on the suck back??? What a joke. If you listen to the background of the commentary, the ref and John go back and forth quite a few times. I think that ref had it out for them honestly. The clearly more aggressive, better wrestler didn't get his hand raised there... What a shame.

The way I understand it, the Ruskies worked HARD behind the scenes to have the weight declassified shortly after Spencer was born, full well knowing that he would DOMINATE THE WORLD IN HIGH SCHOOL. (Sorry for "shouting.")

Ruskies? Someone of Russian descent is sure to catch a case of the ass on that one. Therefore, I am submitting you as a candidate for HR Sensitivity Training.

It'll be interesting to see how much offense Suriano develops at Funn State.

He trains with Nico, and Nico won the national championship. It will be interesting to see how much offense his opponents will have against him: He gave up one takedown in 4 years, and he beat Lee.

I have never even considered officially ignoring someone on a message board. What's the fun in that?
I like the way you think. Lot of fun interacting with subnormal intelligent beings. Can even give the board cretins an IQ boost.;)

LOL dang… Now "Ruskies," is an off-limits term for our Pinko-Communist wrestling rivals?

Where do I sign up for the HR sensitivity classes?

Btw, I'm guessing this means "Nebby," "Wisky," and "Okie St," are also banned terms?

You are a walking transgressor. The label "Pinko-Communist" has been stricken from the lexicon. From now on, it shall be "Social-Democracy" and only in a positive reference to how awesome the Scandanavian countries are.

Yes, I am a Cultural-Facilitator and putting together a gender/race/religion/country etc PowerPoint for the initial HR Diversity/Sensitivity seminar. Meanwhile, no bong hits for you for a week.

Lulz... I just watched Lee take him down twice, numbnuts.

He's probably talking strictly about 'official matches' competing for his HS on their schedule. In that case, has Lee ever given up a takedown? Usually he's too busy TFing his opponent in the first period or pinning him to give up a takedown.

Alright, Lax and pinters! Looks like it's time to go for a little walk…..

……. Htf do we get out of this place?
