Seems like a tremendous waste of money for the host cities and I watch very little of them these days. If these were the last Olympics I wouldn’t miss them.

I think it’s cool to see shit that’s bananas once every four years and not shoved down your throat. Get rid of basketball. But no if it went into the ether I don’t think I would miss women’s judo.
As a diehard wrestling fan, I definitely would. This is the pinnacle of our sport. We're actually going to Paris this year to watch the days when Spencer wrestles. I've always been into the whole production, even if it's corrupt and political a lot of the time.
Yes, I love the Olympics. They are a showcase for so many sports that do not have commercial appeal other than the Worlds or Olympics.

I have to say, the Olympics Theme Song is absolutely awesome.
Back in the day, the Olympics were on TV non-stop.
This was back in the day when you had three channels, but still.

I’ll have it on in the background when I work then the Mrs will want to watch the prime time stuff like gymnastics, swimming and track and field.

Swimming is the summer clincher for me. Love watching that. Plus wrestling of course. Although I did get really into curling in 2022. Hardly missed a match 😄Counterpoint:

I enjoy them. We will have them on for a few hours most nights unless it’s a sport I don’t give a shit about. I do really hate the modern broadcast method of only showing sports we medal in.
I enjoy the summer much more than the winter.
Track/field, swimming, gymnastics, wrestling are probably my favorites.
And I do think they should only rotate between 5-6 countries.
US, Australia, two in Europe (choose between Germany, France and UK), Japan.
