Here's WrestleStat's latest rankings. Not much movement today, but Penn State is back at #2 after moving up 3 spots.

Some of the rankings are a little off.
Yeah, I know , it's the algorithm.
The algorithm needs tweaked just like I tweaked this post so I didn't come off as such a jerk.
I need to work on my own brains algorithm sometimes before posting. :)

It's an excellent algorithm whose accuracy is low for freshman with relatively few matches. Aside from that caveat, it's a great alternative resource that offers some fresh insights precisely because it's an algorithm. It's also the only source that ranks non-starters, e.g. Turk and Brands and Wilson, and I find that to be very helpful. Andegre deserves a lot of credit for creating and maintaining this.

Agreed on all fronts. I have no idea why people even bother to say the rankings are bad. If you are someone who already knows where people should be ranked, why do you need to verify your own ranking with these. It's a great resource for schedules and for checking results for people in other programs you might not be familiar with.

I like many things about it, ability to cross reference opponents, layout, all of the data available on the wrestlers, etc..
I enjoy using it, just the rankings are sometimes headscratchers.
Example: Bravo Young 3rd.

To add to this it’s also an easy source to watch past matches. I love it for that reason alone. I’ve watched about 35 of the close to 50 Spencer Lee past matches to get fix so far this year! This gets to much flack every year.

I'll still use it, just the rankings are sometimes headscratchers.
Example: Bravo Young 3rd.
Yup I get it. Sometimes ya gotta just let it go. No algorithm is gonna be perfect. IMO it’s still the best we got out there for the data to make up your own mind.

Yeah, I'm sorry , didn't mean to offend anyone.
I see the work and effort put into the site.
Very difficult to build a site like that let alone maintain it with constantly changing data.
I do enjoy the site.
