Looks Like Nunge’s new team will not make the NCAA tourney. Too bad he’s not with Iowa. We could be an Elite 8 team with him.
Tough call? That is one of the worst calls in NCAA history!
The NCAA would be dumb enough to do that because they not-so-secretly started trying to push matchups for ratings a few years ago.........Watch the seedings have Iowa play Xavier in the first round.
Watch the seedings have Iowa play Xavier in the first round.
That’s barely a common foul.
I'd take that all day and Sunday too, can we make it happen...Watch the seedings have Iowa play Xavier in the first round.
Wow. That would not have been called a foul at all in the BIG. If they called that shit on MSU or Wisky they'd be out of players in the first half.Tough call? That is one of the worst calls in NCAA history!
Wow, this is unbelievable
Big 10 is probably like get those officials on the phone immediately. They’d be perfect and fit in nicely with our officials who usually call conference games.
Just terrible, that's as bad as the ridiculous call by Courtney Green on Keegan Murray to decide the Rutgers game.Wow, this is unbelievable
Wow, couldn’t possibly disagree with this take more. Nunge brings a 3-pt threat that Rebraca can only dream of, runs the floor well and is actually a very tough player. A lineup of pick-a-PG with Keegan, Kris, PMac and Nunge would be a matchup nightmare for most teams.Xavier has some good players around Nunge. Nunge in no shape or form would make Iowa an elite 8 if he was still around....at most he'd be an viable sub for Rebracca ...has more length then him, but not the toughness.

Nunge would be starting. Hell Rebraca probably wouldn’t even be here.Xavier has some good players around Nunge. Nunge in no shape or form would make Iowa an elite 8 if he was still around....at most he'd be an viable sub for Rebracca ...has more length then him, but not the toughness.
Other than Jack rebounds, shoots, defends, block shots, and passes better than Rebracca, you’re right Filip plays “tougher”.Xavier has some good players around Nunge. Nunge in no shape or form would make Iowa an elite 8 if he was still around....at most he'd be an viable sub for Rebracca ...has more length then him, but not the toughness.
This take is worse than that foul callXavier has some good players around Nunge. Nunge in no shape or form would make Iowa an elite 8 if he was still around....at most he'd be an viable sub for Rebracca ...has more length then him, but not the toughness.
Yep. The only thing Filip has over Jack so far is health. If Nunge hadn't transferred, Rebraca likely doesn't even come to Iowa. Even if he did, he's Nunge's backup. I think more highly of FR than most on here, but no way he would start over Jack.
The NCAA would be dumb enough to do that because they not-so-secretly started trying to push matchups for ratings a few years ago.........
Especially when there’s literally no bad blood between anyone involved. You think that people would tune in to see some kind of Nunge vs Iowa revenge narrative?!
He's already said he's coming back for a second year with the Hawks...Can Rebraca come back next year?

I think he will have a good year next year and play the 4 with Mulvey at the 5He's already said he's coming back for a second year with the Hawks...
If that’s the case we are in big trouble!I think he will have a good year next year and play the 4 with Mulvey at the 5
He was called for a lot of tickytack fouls in an Iowa uniform too. Must have followed him to Xavier.Tough call? That is one of the worst calls in NCAA history!
Same way they put Nebraska and Creighton in the same pod to create interest for a possible all-Nebraska second round matchup.....Yes, that Iowa-Xavier matchup would produce quite the spike in ratings.
Sure, but Creighton is in Nebraska and makes sense as a regional rivalry type game. How many of the masses know Nunge played at Iowa? It’s not like Garza got into it with Fran and transferred. That might make a compelling matchup.Same way they put Nebraska and Creighton in the same pod to create interest for a possible all-Nebraska second round matchup.....
You answered your own question if you think about it.Sure, but Creighton is in Nebraska and makes sense as a regional rivalry type game. How many of the masses know Nunge played at Iowa? It’s not like Garza got into it with Fran and transferred. That might make a compelling matchup.
Stupidity lolXavier has some good players around Nunge. Nunge in no shape or form would make Iowa an elite 8 if he was still around....at most he'd be an viable sub for Rebracca ...has more length then him, but not the toughness.
You were saying? I feel bad for Nunge. Maybe he will transfer back??Wow, that’s quite the collapse. Projected 8 seed headed into the day per bracketmatrix.com to missing the tournament completely because they lost to projected 9 seed Seton Hall…..🙄
The comment was based on one game when they were projected in the field on Feb 26. Nice try at a gotcha though. You were saying? I feel bad for Nunge. Maybe he will transfer back??
