Wow, that’s quite the collapse. Projected 8 seed headed into the day per bracketmatrix.com to missing the tournament completely because they lost to projected 9 seed Seton Hall…..🙄

Watch the seedings have Iowa play Xavier in the first round.

Xavier has lost 4 straight since their senior guard Nate Johnson left with an injury. They're in a pickle if he can't return healthy.
Big 10 is probably like get those officials on the phone immediately. They’d be perfect and fit in nicely with our officials who usually call conference games.
Xavier has some good players around Nunge. Nunge in no shape or form would make Iowa an elite 8 if he was still around....at most he'd be an viable sub for Rebracca ...has more length then him, but not the toughness.

Wow, couldn’t possibly disagree with this take more. Nunge brings a 3-pt threat that Rebraca can only dream of, runs the floor well and is actually a very tough player. A lineup of pick-a-PG with Keegan, Kris, PMac and Nunge would be a matchup nightmare for most teams.
The only question with Nunge coming into this season was health. He showed last year that he had significantly upgraded his strength.
If Nunge hadn't transferred, Rebraca likely doesn't even come to Iowa. Even if he did, he's Nunge's backup. I think more highly of FR than most on here, but no way he would start over Jack.
Nunge would be starting. Hell Rebraca probably wouldn’t even be here.
Other than Jack rebounds, shoots, defends, block shots, and passes better than Rebracca, you’re right Filip plays “tougher”.

Sure, but Creighton is in Nebraska and makes sense as a regional rivalry type game. How many of the masses know Nunge played at Iowa? It’s not like Garza got into it with Fran and transferred. That might make a compelling matchup.
