Our TEs are the best players on the field. We need to scheme to get them the ball more often. Screens, shovel passes, seam routes, etc. They are true weapons that honestly are under-utilized given their talent.

I totally agree about Hockenson. He is a solid all around TE and his hands are clearly the best on the team. Fant catches tds but Hockenson is the better overall TE. He'll have a career to remember at IOWA.

Well half the time fant has everyone do the heavy lifting and swoops in for the TD when we get the ball within the 10 .
Kind of reminds me in '16 when wadley would march down the field then go to the sidelines to watch someone else score

Hock reminds me of a Jason Whitten type of TE. Knows how to find the holes in the D to get open and has excellent hands. Just an exceptionally good overall TE. Admittedly I haven't watched his blocking enough to make a solid judgment on that part of his game. He's not a burner but he seems fast enough to get behind people and get the job done. Love watching this kid play. He definitely has a future playing on Sundays.
