I would expect a headline about a record-setting dual meet that Iowa won to include something positive about Iowa.
Didn't the headline link to the Crutchmer video and not an article about the whole dual? It's a pretty fitting headline for Crutchmer's match.

I expect that the head line reflect what happened. There was not digging deep nor a silent crowd.
And yea. He hangs on would be more accurate. Instead of call people girls, you might want to be less of a defensive jack ass.

He was losing with the riding time point factored in and went and got a takedown with 30ish seconds left to get the win. I'd say that's digging deep. And I certainly didn't hear any cheers after the 174lb match.

Onceafish--A piece of unsolicited advice that may serve you well in life. Sometimes, when you have a strong substantive point, you just make it without also suggesting that the person with whom you are disagreeing is a bad guy. B/c then you have to persuade the reader not only that you are right on the merits, but also that the person whose view you are criticizing is a "whiny little girl." No one believes that about TarpHawk or 255. You, though, are starting to develop a reputation.

Have absolutely no problem with Flo's coverage of the event. I really wish they did a whiteboard segment for the event prior but that's nitpicking.
Also Willie was solid on Flo Live this morning. Loved his take on 49/57 situation and if Kemerer gets us more points if BS moved up. I know it's a selfish sport but the agruement can still be discussed. I'd recommend not saying anything to CP about his ranking though. Kind of sensitive with all the work he puts into them. Also it's so early in the season that it really doesn't matter. Hope Iowa just finishes on top but damn PSU looks solid minus HWT

I'm no fan of Flo as I don't think they do justice to Iowa at times, but this thread headline doesn't do full justice to Flo. Flo had plenty of pro Iowa Grapple on the Gridiron topics. Calling out Flo for the Crutchmer headline only makes this board look like some entitled teens.
I have been thinking for about the last two weeks that Flo has been very positive towards Iowa in regards to the GOTG. Yeah, OSU got one good headline. The rest were all pro Iowa in my opinion (at least the ones I remember off the top of my head.)

also - i wanted to do a whiteboard war on GotG, but CP was doing a full breakdown article on it, so i thought 1) it was a bit redundant and 2) spread the love around a little.

Hey Willie, caught you and CP's review of the weekend on Flo...pretty good stuff. Might I suggest the reason that everybody went to you about punishing Gilman is that they see you (fair or not) as the De Facto anti Iowa guy. Good on you for not biting. We all know why Gilman gave the "let's get on with it" shove...refs didn't call it, nor did they call two coaches coming out almost to the center of the mat either. You could see Guerrero looking at Smith as if to say, "Faux outrage, that's how we're going to play it?"
I thought they did signal a bench warning on Smith. If not, they should have. The ref should have also at least acknowledged the shove if not penalize it.
Meh...but many are aware of the feud and think you do an excellent job trolling HR (you do) so why not generate some anti Gilman stuff. It's a credit to you that you didn't and called it like you saw it. As for CP, Vais...we hardly know you anymore. Drop a line once in awhile.

Great idea. It was a link I saw on Facebook so I read it. I don't go on Flo anymore.
I already cop'ed to being too sensitive about it but still think it was a misleading headline.
Also, I can read and not like anything I want but thanks for the idea.
