The people that scream "both sides" are always on the Republican side. They know their party is trash, but can't fathom voting for a Democrat. So they lie to themselves that Democrats are just as bad. It helps them go to sleep at night.

It is a sad state of affairs that we are having this long and excruciating thread about which party sucks the most. The rabid supporters of either party will never admit that theirs is the worst.
