If it's Iowa, downtown Freddy Brown. I've never seen a shooter like him except for Rick Mount from Purdue. Listed at 6-3, he wasn't. He was probably 6-1 on a good day. I was able to have a few breakfasts with him at Quadrangle dining. 😎❤️🏀
For a serious answer, I'd say Allen Iverson. He was spectacular at Georgetown.

If you're talking just the offensive end, Pistol Pete and Rick Mount would be hard to top. For impact on the game, I will go with Lew Alcinder (Kareem). He was so scary coming out of HS that the NCAA banned dunking for a few years.

Bill Walton . He would rebound and have the outlet pass to half court before his feet hit the ground . Terrific on defense and as shot blocker . He shot 21-22 in National championship game , and had one taken away for offensive goaltending.

Lester's junior year, when they won the Big Ten, the Mich. St game was the best game I witnessed in the Field House. Magic was just different in every respect.
Lots of good ones above. Can't top any of them but going a different direction I will say David Robinson because he was a one man team at Navy. Harold Miner was pretty tough at USC but not in the league of those above.

Actually, Walton was 25-26 from the field . Four baskets were disallowed for offensive goaltending since there was a no dunking rule at the time. That team won 88 straight games .
I saw Wayman Tisdale play in person against Iowa St. in high school, he was so good! I would have never gone to an Iowa St game but I won the tickets with my high school basketball team's free throw-a-thon fundraiser(2nd place). 1st place was Iowa tickets. I was not happy, but I was glad I was able to see Tisdale play.
