liberals don't consume cable news like Republicans do
this has been generally true for about 15 years (if not more)
maybe it's just me, but I don't think that's a bad thing
This is the actual issue. Rush Limbaugh was the first to identify that conservatives love to consume information that feeds their prejudices, and he made millions off of it. FOX perfected it and became the number one rated network - clearly not because of accuracy or lack of bias.
I’ve told this before, but as a home health worker my wife spent years going to people’s homes, and she noticed there are a LOT of people, mainly men, who have FOX news on their TV all day long, every day. There is no corresponding audience for MSNBC. “The Brainwashing of my Dad” is a sad and honest window into what is happening to millions of conservatives.
That so-called liberal media cannot compete is a compliment to the liberal mindset.
