Kash Patel FBI director.

I am a little worried that Wray will have to be dragged kicking and screaming from the office ... so I am wondering if he can be fired for cause? Specifically, since he is tied to Russia-Gate, Russia-Gate, could he be fired for corruption? Or charged with crimes by the DOJ? I certainly do not want him to be pardoned or granted immunity in exchange for his testimony.

Can he be charged with "Lying to the FBI?" while essentially being the FBI? ... sort of like Trump being charged with holding classified documents even though legally/technically he is the guy for whom they were marked "Classified?"

In any case, I have stated on numerous occasions that a top Trump priority should be to clean up the mess at the Justice Department and at the FBI. This is a home-run pick.

Speaking of posters who have gone off the rails. You also posted that Trump was a good Christian and Melania was having a terrific influence on him. Apparently highlighted by his atrocious Thanksgiving message.

You are brain dead.

When did you realize your kid was/wasn't game for extra competitive sports?

Not every kid is destined to earn a college scholarship. Forcing them to play will only get them to hate it more. Sometimes, it take high school before they start getting serious about a sport. Hopefully they just get passionate about something. Even better if the thing they get passionate about can be molded into a career. He's 12, I wouldn't worry too much. I wouldn't worry if it never happens so long as he can stay motivated enough to get schoolwork done.
I was about to post something along these lines. Getting an athletic scholarship is one of the tougher things to do. I have two 5 year old girls but my wife and I have made a choice to focus way more into the education side of things at an early age and see where that takes us.

Just getting into the school system but I think it is so weird to do travel teams at such a young age.

End of the OSU/Michigan game

Sure looked like it. Will be interesting to see what, if any, punishment is handed out. That was the only part of the game I saw. Was the rest of it chippy?
No. There were a few post game mix ups yesterday due to away teams planting flags on the home teams logo in rivalry games.

My thoughts on Tim Lester

Total offense ranking last year 132
This year 114

70 yds more a game.

Pts per game way up to 28….15 last year

Not as much improvement as we would like but improvement nonetheless.

I think the jury is still out. He took over a train wreck offense.
How much of that improvement was KJ and for a couple games at least a mobile quarterback? Those slightly improved numbers and an 8-4 record mask inherent weaknesses in Kirk’s offense and his inability to recruit better athletes at offensive skill positions. Those issues are still there.

Can Lester make a difference? Remains to be seen. I’m not optimistic about next year.

Why is Nebber such a lil bro to Iowa?? Why can’t they compete at our level?

Once your program starts to decline, it is extremely difficult to get it back. But I feel like the OP…. I would have never thought Nebraska would ever struggle like this. I’m willing to bet that when they entered BIG, most fan bases felt “Crap, they will be right up there with Michigan and Ohio State.” Obviously ,it hasn’t happened. Most years they were AT or NEAR the bottom of the West Division. It’s mind boggling to me. I guess the Hawks have their share of problems so I’ll stick to worrying about them. (As if I have any say….lol)

When did you realize your kid was/wasn't game for extra competitive sports?

So much of it is DNA. I have three kids. The first girl and boy just did not like team sports. They did not try all that hard, were easily distracted, had zero competitiveness or cares and just really did not have a lot of fun. By middle school age both hung up their cleats.

But then there is our youngest who we assumed may not be different. Like the other two we started her out in soccer around age 6-7. She seemed a little more serious and was great listener to the coaches and then first little game we have she scores 3 goals. My other kids in 8 years of combined soccer had scored a combined 0 goals. So that was the moment we realized this one may be different. She is in 7th grade and is third best in Cross Country and probably 4th - 5th best on soccer team so it’s been fun.

My thoughts on Tim Lester

The OL improved on run blocking. KJ is a special talent and was a home run every game. We didn’t see the same type of production when the other backs were in there (Tho they had some nice runs too). KJ made them look a lot better

The pass blocking was horrible. Again. Maybe a handful of times during the year the QB had more than 2 seconds to scan the field ??? Cade took a beating again. Sullivan would have too if not for his mobility. Shaggy never had to throw haha

Friday nights game, #9 for NE was in the backfield every single snap.

You wonder if it really is more the scheme than the players. When Iowa went to their Kirk offense, it’s impossible for 5 players to block 9. When we saw Lester offense and motion, the guys looked to have a chance

Who’s even coming back from this years OL ? And did any underclassmen play ?
