4 years ago the Constitution was under attack on this day. For 4 years Americans were lied to by Trump and MAGAs about how the election was stolen from him. Of course, nothing but lies, blather and bullshit but “noise” nonetheless. Today America will witness first hand how a democracy is supposed to work. A peaceful and non-violent transfer of power will take place early this afternoon.
It’s not because Democrats agree with Republicans and Trump in how the country needs to be run. It will happen because Democrats, as a Party, love the concept of our American style of democracy.

We all know what would have happened if Trump had lost the election last November. We have observed how he/they react to adversity almost daily for the past 4 years.

President Biden said in a new interview published on Wednesday that he was considering pre-emptive pardons for people President-elect Donald J. Trump considered his political enemies, but he added that he had not yet decided what to do.
“A little bit of it depends on who he puts in what positions,” Mr. Biden told USA Today in the interview, which was conducted Sunday.
Mr. Biden was asked whether he would pardon Liz Cheney, the former Republican representative frequently targeted by Mr. Trump and his supporters for her role investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, mob attack on the Capitol, or Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, the former top federal infectious disease official who oversaw the nation’s Covid-19 response.
“I think there are certain people like, if he were to, I don’t want to name their names,” Mr. Biden said, before asking to speak off the record.

Mr. Biden said that he had appealed to the president-elect in a two-hour Oval Office meeting after the election. “I tried to make it clear that there was no need, and it was counterintuitive to go back and try to settle scores,” Mr. Biden said. But Mr. Trump did not say how he would handle his threats of retribution.
“He didn’t reinforce it; he just basically listened,” Mr. Biden said.
Since late last year, Mr. Biden’s staff has considered what the pardons might look like were Mr. Biden to pursue them, including how to extend executive clemency to a list of current and former government officials for any possible crimes over a period of years.
Mr. Trump told NBC recently that he would like to jail members of the congressional panel that investigated the Jan. 6 attack. Ms. Cheney served on the panel. At least two of its other members, Senator Adam Schiff, a Democrat from California, and Adam Kinzinger, the former Republican representative, have said they do not want pardons, arguing that accepting one would falsely suggest that they had committed crimes.
“It would be the wrong precedent to set,” Mr. Schiff told CNN earlier this week. “I don’t want to see each president hereafter on their way out the door giving out a broad category of pardons.”

We’ve established our NIL is piss poor. 10% talent fee, like Tennessee is implementing, will raise about $600k per home game for NIL. Came across Kirk's introductory press conference yesterday and thought who would have projected his 24 year run at Iowa. Many people asked who? Of course everybody wanted Stoops. Kirk was very articulate in that press conference and his answers were well thought out.

After a one win first year and three win second, I doubt many thought he'd last.
Interesting today, many college coaches say Kirk is everything that is good about college football.

He develops young men for football and life after football, he is a man of high integrity, he doesn't go for more points late when the game is in-hand, has given back to the university many time over.

Now in his twi-light years of coaching, he stands near the cusp for most wins by a Big Ten coach. I'm proud to have him as our coach.

Lily Phillips is sparking a debate online after sleeping with 100 men in a single day.

In the Josh Pieters documentary titled I Slept With 100 Men in One Day, the OnlyFans model recalls sleeping with multiple men one day in October to create NSFW content for her subscription-based social media page.

In one clip that has gone viral, the model can be seen breaking down in tears as she says she felt somewhat "robotic" sleeping with that many people in one day.
