#10 Notre Dame at Texas

Lots of dejected Texas fans. That was strange for sure. The extra 15 helps ND get closer to a FG. I have Texas +3.5 so hope that's all the Domers get!

I love how both announcers said how the penally was gonna be costly and ND was gonna get really good field position right before the guy is tackled at the 28.

Texas Center apparently sucks.

This is one reason I can't stand Texas. Every advantage you can imagine, probably had 80 kids ask to be their center. Somehow the select one who can't snap it straight (has missed at least two this evening, right?)

I got two terrible ones, but i only started watching at halftime.

Texas will prob have to kick fg and get blocked again.

That would be classic Longhorn football.

I think this injury helps Texas though. Get a couple of plays called with the players you want on the field and run tempo.

Well, if ND runs the table, they'll still be in unless somehow there are 4 undefeated a in the P5 mix.

This made my year. Hate the Irish, they need a conf title game or nvr have a shot at playoff. Join a conference or get left behind.

F u ND and Golic. So tired of listening to that all the time on ESPN. Join a conference or stop losing to non-ranked teams and still want a seat at the table. And Golic's son too. Dear God you would think ND won a championship last year as opposed to 1988.

A domer loss is good for the B1G. Keeps the 4th slot away from them. One more domer loss and call them done

Nah, with a loss to unranked team they're out.

What conference is that ?
I think we'll have to see where TX is ranked at the end, that's what really matters.

Beating someone way overrated in the presseason<beating a better, unranked(preseason) team

Interesting to hear Golic's reaction on Tuesday since they will likely be off on labor day

ND is ranked # 10 that won't change for this game. The schedule will always show them ranked # 10 and Texas non-ranked. Games that haven't been played will change but games played don't change.

So you really believe that if texas were to go undefeated(I'm NOT saying they will), the cfp would look at the notre dame loss as a loss to a team that isn't even one of the top 25 in college football?
In the "game record", they may not have a ranking next to their name, but the committee isn't going to base the quality of a win or loss based on the preseason rankings of teams that hadn't even played a game.

Concerning watching how far ahead of Iowa both teams were last night. I guess it was the first game, and I guess game prep for this type of opening game is significantly different than it would be for what we usually have to prepare for, but still.

What I found odd is that Texas had a three score lead, and insisted on stopping the clock the entire third quarter.

Here is what I found this morning:

Texas TOP 20:50
Notre Dame TOP 39:10
