I'm pretty certain the RICO charge is getting dropped on Ellis and Powell.
I also believe its worded they will testify "honestly" not "against".
Sure thing. But the prosecution wouldn’t drop RICO charges if there wasn’t incentivizes for the prosecution. The defense can’t drop the charges. If the co-conspirators had not offered up damning testimony against other co-conspirators, there would be no reason to offer a plea. The way it usually works is that the defendant presents their possible testimony to the prosecution and THEN it’s decided to grant immunity or not…. So, the folks having charges dropped have to had spilled the beans before any offer was finalized.

Gonna go wash the **** out of my hand now.

I also don't at all expect you to honor the bet once you lose.
Not sure if this means you are taking the bet?
Answer all of these questions with a simple yes or no. No gish galloping. No straw manning, no twisting yourself into a pretzel. Just direct yes or no responses.

1) did Trump explicitly ask Mike Pence to reject the electoral votes (an act that violates the constitution)

2) was the purpose of that request to prevent the certification of votes declaring Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 presidential election?

3) is it accurate to state that rejecting the electoral votes would be an attempt at overturning the election results?

4) is overturning election results that are the will of the people and not found to be widespread fraudulent or fraudulent anywhere near the magnitude needed to change the outcome of the election, a direct assault on democracy and a violation of the constitution.

I suspect you're going to really struggle to answer these with a simple yes or no, because doing so would contradict your entire position.
1) YES
2) YES
3)NO
4)YES

Now 1) He was VP and has a sworn oath to uphold the Constitution!

2) Even you have to at least admit that there was a LOT of questionable things taking place. So it is the responsibility of the government to hold FAIR and HONEST elections which these certainly were not

3) This does not apply to the topic you are trying to make it apply to

4) See above, but it should be used against the demoRATS because every historical indicate, every POLL, every prediction, every early vote tally, were ALL off? It is mathematically a million to 1 shot!!! So you add in, workers pulling ballets from under tables, machines adding votes from no where, ballets driven from NY to PA, etc.... That tells you to MAKE SURE and that was what TRUMP was saying and TOO many scumbags are OWNED by the demoRATS!!!
Please refrain from being such an asshole and be better. TIA.
And you crawled out from under what rock you POS!?!?!? There is a WAR which the USA may have to fight in that was funded by the POS biden and other anti- American SCUMBAGS!!! It is NO joke and on top of it, there is people in OUR country supporting the hamas terrorists! That INCLUDES biden who wants to send 60 million to palestine. You obviously do not know this but that country is ruled by..... guess who???? and where does the $$$$$ go???? So STFU and go back under the rock!!!

I have come to the conclusion that both Ironbird and Magaman are just trolls. No real person could be as idiotic as those two. They are just putting us all on And laughing at us as they spew their nonsense.
The big question would be: who is more stupid? Those of us who respond to their nonsense or those who actually agree with it?
Without a doubt you guys are more stupid. Stupid actually wouod be an upgrade for your clan

Covid? The biggest hoax in human history. GTFOH. You mean the year every death in the USA was covid? No one died of cancer, heart attack, or natural causes. Everyone who died in 2020 died of covid. Give me a break.
Fake news again. Did you get that info from what Right wing conspiracy site? Talk about the hoax that killed over a million Americans. Try to find one legitimate medical site that agrees with your nonsense! Or find any physician that worked in the hospitals that hundreds of patients were dying from Covid that would agree that it was a hoax.

@MSU158 let's settle this nonsense. We strongly disagree on the evidence to date that Trump is guilty of crimes.

How about we make a bet. The loser deletes their account and quits posting here.

If Trump is convicted and sentenced to prison you delete your account. If he's not convicted or receives a sentence less than prison, I'll delete my account.
He may be convicted, but he could make a deal to drop out of politics and do home confinement to stay out of prison. It would be very difficult to have an ex president be in prison. If that were to occur, you would still win the bet.

i would answer you , but what you just stated makes no sense.
If I remember right... Trump wasn't the one putting COVID positive people in Nursing Homes and Hospice Homes, but a lot of Democratic Governors were.

Fellas, I stand corrected. I just read the latest report. Apparently Trump has never been indicted. I’m sorry for getting that wrong. Not sure where my head was. Carry on…..

Let's go down the road with Biden one more time. The IRS is making the announcement that there will be a 7% income tax increase in 2024. This is to combat a 40 year high inflation rate. Boy is that going to stimulate a stagnate economy. And for those that are going to say "prove it, source". CBS News made the announcement.

He may be convicted, but he could make a deal to drop out of politics and due home confinement to stay out of prison. It would be very difficult to have an ex president be in prison. If that were to occur, you would still win the bet.

I agree that that's a likely outcome even though I wouldn't view that as justice. The crimes he's committed easily justify life behind bars. All citizens should be treated equally under the law. He's already been given preferential treatment. Any other citizen would've been charged long ago, and would have had their bail revoked for violating the conditions and gag orders.

I fear that as the trials approach and as sentencing in particular approaches, we're going to experience very difficult times as the cult lashes out vocally and violently. There will be more terrorist attacks.

He has a history of committing stochastic terrorism and inciting violence against rival politicians, and law enforcement. I worry that the judges will justify a decision to give him home confinement as some form of middle ground concession to the GQP (who are also going to continue the dangerous rhetoric that it's a witch hunt, and the DOJ is being politiczed).

Home confinement in a luxurious mansion for an 80 year old man is an egregiously insufficient penalty for outright attempting to overthrow democracy and becoming a dictator. Trump has said what he thinks should happen to General Milley for "committing treason". There are many Americans who believe Trump's actions warrant that type of punishment. I'd be satisfied with 10+ years in prison. Effectively a life sentence. Anything less would be a miscarriage of justice.

The next 5 or so years is going to be one of the most challenging times in American history. The only way it goes smoothly in my opinion is if MAGA politicians (which make no mistake are the majority of the GQP) get voted out and lose elections and the cult slowly dwindles in size and power. The problem is that there are millions of absolutely deluded and deranged ignorant cultists who are highly emotional, lack critical thinking skills, are uneducated, are armed, and have not much to lose in their lives by acting out violently in a desperate attempt to support Trump and fight back against the "libtards" who are "destroying our country".

I hope I'm wrong about the violence ahead of us, but they're the same people who've been calling for civil war. One tweet from trump just as he's about to be handcuffed and taken away could easily set off widespread violence.

Not true at all. If you count the death rate, those states did poorly. Many of the states with the high death rates from Covid did better on the economy. PA did well on the economy and the death rate.

Bidenomics spending 1.02T$ more than they have taken in so far this year. Revenues have dropped over 300B$ thanks to the brain trust running our economy into oblivion. Of course none of this includes corruption payments to the clan. New car loans averaging 9.89% this morning. Libs think they are immune from these stark realities as TDS runs amok for their psycho salve. Amazing feat of tribal delusionary projection.

So, isn't it a tad bit disingenuous to use Covid and the COMPLETELY Bipartisan programs that caused that giant spending increase in 2020? Isn't it equally disingenuous to act like Biden created "so many" jobs and single handedly destroyed unemployment, when Covid literally forced so many people to go on unemployment and he was simply a byproduct of the shutdown being lifted as well as MANY using up their unemployment and no longer being "counted" as unemployed??????

if your focus is only on the last 3.1T number, yes

but the other numbers show that trump was absolutely responsible for increasing the deficit. was on track to hit about 1.3 T in 2020 without covid (and this was in what all trump supporters will tell you was the greatest economic period ever, when we should be shrinking the deficit, not growing it)

but yes...i know...when it comes to trump being responsible for bad things and biden being given credit for good things, it is very important to provide proper nuance and context

Hey, I think Trump was absolutely a spender and in NO WAY a conservative. I have said that plenty of times. This is in no way a defense of him. I just find it funny how his spending is twisted to fit a party line narrative while ignoring the cause and effects for both that and unemployment figures.

Let's not forget, during the next cycle, basically all Covid spending programs ended in 2022. This alone decreased spending roughly 8-10 % or 550 to 700 billion depending on the reports you read. Needless to say this was quickly "rectified" by re-allocating funds as quickly and inefficiently as possible and would almost certainly have been done much faster and cost more if not for fighting both a Republican Senate and House and now STILL having to fight the House....

@MSU158 I see you've ignored the 4 yes or no questions I asked you. What a shock.

My only comment in this thread will be this. Picking between Trump and Biden for president is like choosing between getting kicked in the balls and having a 2x4 shoved up your ass. The plus is you still have a choice I guess.

Unfortunately only one of those two candidates supports the fact that the people get to choose their representative, which makes the choice between the two a no brainer. (Unfortunately tens of millions of Americans have broken brains however)

copying and pasting data and citing the source, to me, is a far cry form "twisting to fit a party line narrative"

explaining why spending signed by a president and passed with near unanimous support from his party shouldn't actually be applied to that president - that sounds a lot more like "twisting to fit a party line narrative"

All Trump does is insult people, yet you love him for it.
Nope - one of the reasons I don't. But I don't let hurt feelings get in the way of a better economy and general world stability and peace. All of which occured during his administration. The fact that many of his policies were immediately struck down has a lot to do with where we are at now. Failure to enforce the restrictions on Iran has helped get us where we are at now. Picking a cabinet based on being a first and vote pandering has helped get us where we are at now. It just keeps adding up.

You talk about following the Constituion, but the current President has promised things (like the repayment of student loans) that he had no authority to do so. He knew it, or at least his lawyers did. But he got what he wanted - students getting pissed because the Supreme Court ruled appropriately so it was all the GOP's fault. It goes on and on.

If Trump was not running again for President and being the overwhelming favorite to get the nomination, and there was an understanding to not get involved again, or to not go ofter the deep state, do you believe he would have been indicted for anything?

Honestly? I am simply trying to just ignore you. My last response to your negativity, insults and full on lack of civility was very clear. I owe you NOTHING. There is no point in my continuing a back and forth with you when you have shown time and time again you are not only 100% unwilling to consider any differing opinion, but you will unabashedly insult anyone that has one.

You can continue to be "shocked" or whatever term you want to use and I will be happy to keep making you that way. Peace and prosperity to you and yours!

And yes, he would absolutely be indicted even if he weren't the leading GQP candidate. The legal system is supposed to be blind. Why would they not indict him for the serious crimes that he's committed just because he wasn't going to run for office.
