#1000pages FSU Third Natty (Women’s Soccer 2021 & 2023, and Cheerleading 2023 achieved)

Well, football came to an inglorious end, while soccer went down fighting.
Gotta respect what the ACC women are doing so far on the pitch. 6 of 8 were in the Elite Eight and the College Cup is an all ACC battle. My guess is that Duke wins their first Natty to send Robbie Church into retirement happy.
Sure wish FSU was there.

It was suggested we would see/hear about the DC hire soon after OC announcement. Assume before NSD…not that it could make a significant impact in that regard.

I really hope Luke gets a bedroom in Gus's house and they turn him into a superstar. He needs an OLine and some folks who don't drop, but his grit, determination, running, and size (FR at 6-4) make him a great project. But I do think this means the end for Brock unless he wants to be a career back up. Or it's Brock. But I don't know how we keep both Freshman esp since Luke seemed to get the reins (Brock burned his RS already).

Im sure there will be some other folks opting into the Portal shortly. Portal opens Dec 9 to Dec 28. Also looks like the Portal is open AFTER the playoff for players who were on the playoff teams. That Playoff Portal extension is an interesting twist.

But getting the O and D coordinator in place now and the staff falling in place in the next 3 weeks makes a pretty good timing sequence.

The later portal date for playoff teams was that way last year too

So does that mean Odell moves into an off-field position, an ambassador-type position, or do we carry 2 DL coaches?
Papuchis (sp) coaches d ends and special teams right? So we kinda already have two DL coaches. Dunno what will be the spot for Odell, if there is one.
It will give me the sads to see him go.

Gus hasn’t had a good qb since he converted a DB to play QB in 2013. He couldn’t figure out how to use Bo Nix. Luke should transfer if he wants to make it to the NFL.

If you had a Nole buddy who slipped into a coma in the middle of the 2013 college football season & came out of it this morning, and his first comment to you was "hey, last thing I remember was FSU having a freshman QB who was lighting it up...how'd he turn out" - you'd just show him last night's game. It was Jameis in a nutshell - his life, his career - the good, the bad, the ugly. Good Jamies... Exciting & fun to watch. Complete 60% of his passes for a franchise-record 497 yards and 4 TDs. Bad Jameis...throw 3 picks, two of them returned for TDs, including one to end the game.

Finally, a good kind of flip. This guy might be the best incoming freshman rb in the country.

Ousmane!!!!

Better signing day than what we've had in a while, as far as good news on flips (though it sounds like we're likely going to, again, lose our highest ranked recruit on a signing day flip).
