Plan on coming down when can I purchase tickets for this?
Also plan to stay for the football game.
How is parking at the football stadium?
Thanks for any information can give me.

Best bet would be paying for parking near Carver side streets and walking through dental lot over to Kinnick. Most of the parking around Kinnick is spoken for via season ticket holders, tailgaters and RV's

Usually there is plenty of parking available in the ramp on melrose next to the hospital. Especially that far ahead of the football game

i can't remember where, but I'm pretty sure I saw in one of the press releases that the train will NOT be running for the wrestling meet. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
This is correct, no train....

Hopefully the goal post won't be too much of an annoyance. I read that they will NOT be removing it and it will remain in tact.

Thanks for the information. I wonder how they decide what order to send the emails. I never received the email that was supposedly sent out saying that season tickets were now on sale, either. I just tried logging into my account on hawkeyesports.com and it says tickets go on sale Sept. 25 for the Kinnick dual. Strange.

They may be doing it based on donor level and staggering the dates?

Also if you care about watching the big video board I would suggest getting seats on the east/west sides instead of the endzone.

Thanks, I was just coming back to report that I had done so. :)

So, it turns out that the emails are sent to season ticket holders in order of priority points, which makes perfect sense.

No, you can only buy the number of seats for this event, that you have season wrestling tickets for. You CAN buy more, but you will get dick slapped if you do it, it says.

Season ticket holders CAN buy more now. It is tricky because they (we) have already paid for the season tickets which include Okie St. You have to pay more, of course, for the extras you get. So, you have to break them out on the invoice from those you have already paid for.

Good to see that somebody reads the fine print! ;)

GG, how many ticket requests have you received, and how many are you able to fill?

Do you guys think I need to call the ticket office and ask about seating and getting extra tickets or just be patient and wait for my email?? This is my 1st year purchasing season tickets.

Here's what I would do: Log into your account on hawkeyesports.com, if you have one. Click on the Wrestling link. The OkSU meet will be showing and in small red print it will say "tickets go on sale at ..." That's the date and time that you were assigned to be able to select your seats and buy more. For me, a season ticket holder only since 2006, I can't buy tix until Friday, just to give you an idea.

I'm baffled. We've had season tickets since the 1970's and are in row 40. How the $%#$ does this happen?

Your time is based on your priority pts level which is primarily based on your donor level/pts I'm guessing. If you have had season tickets since 1970 but have never donated a penny then someone who requested season tix for the 1st time but has donated $5000 over the years will probably jump in front of you. Money talks...

I'm seriously doubting that rows 1-39 are full of big donors. Frankly, that seems pretty much impossible.

Ours were purchased about as early as they could have been purchased. I doubt that many tickets were sold below ours.

I bet you're higher because you specified a section. I have had season tickets since 2007, and haven't donated. I have 6 seats in row 16 (or maybe 18) in section HH. If you note on the application next year that you want lowest available, I'd imagine you'd end up much lower.

Sorry -- maybe I'm confusing the issue here. I was talking about our seats in Kinnick for 11/14/15. Our season tickets in Carver are in row 5.

Just trying to make some sense out of why our tickets in Kinnick are so darn high up.

WDM...are you saying you are row 40 in carver or Kinnick? Guess I'm confused. We pick our own seats in Kinnick and there are plenty of seats avail in lower rows still.

If you don't like your seats in carver call the TO and see what options you have to move them.
