I believe the opposite - the committee likes Iowa. ESPN and those with a financial interest in the sport dislike Iowa because we don't have a national fanbase and aren't a "blue blood" program.
Frankly, I don't want to be #3 if Alabama is going to be #2. I'd much, much, much, much rather be #4 and play Clemson than be #3 and play Alabama. We can beat Clemson. Nobody beats Alabama playing a pro-style offense.
Sadly I think he's right. We are perfectly positioned to get dumped with a loss.So he says if Iowa loses the B1G CG they are out of the playoffs? Wow, does he seriously get paid for this "in-depth" analysis? This guy should be a rocket scientist. Maybe NASA is hiring.
In Lincoln waiting for your arrival...lolYet there Iowa sits at #4 controlling our own destiny. Where is Nebraska at?
Well of course he is right. That is what I meant. He says if they lose the championship game they are out of the playoffs. Ummmmm, yeah, no chit Sherlock. So is Alabama if they lose the SEC championship game. So is Clemson if they lose the ACC championship. Just seems they want to try to make a story out of Iowa. Oh well.Sadly I think he's right. We are perfectly positioned to get dumped with a loss.
