I'm starting to wonder if Bower may gain some lbs, and end up at DE next year?

Mends and Hockaday seem like excellent talents ... if Garbutt, Jinning, and Wilson seem to have adequate promise ... then yeah, I'm starting to see an increasingly likelihood that Bower could help us at DE.

The only drawback to having Bower at DE is that we would be losing experienced talent in our depth at LB. However, if he can be a regular contributor at DE, it could be a trade-off well worth it.

Bo might rush the passer from de in the raider package. He is staying at olb because he really improved this year. I loved the way Mends looked in the MSU game, what a stud he could be on the blitz, fast. Great battle shaping up in the spring.

The position I'm most concern about is MLB if something happens to Jewell.I believe JJ was the best OLB we had on the roster in spring ball and JJ took one for the team moving to the MLB when nobody else step up.Nothing against Perry but he is a soild backup.What a great job JJ did but he goes down it could be a major issue.

Absolutely true. We need to develop some depth there this spring. Amani Jones will be a mlber eventually but likely won't be ready next year.

I don't think we have any idea. I know I thought we were screwed this year when Ott, and our OTs went down. Iowa may have some good depth at MLB, but let's not find out.

Coach Ferentz said on one of his call-in shows that they were trying to pick a position for Terrence Harris and that he was leaning towards him playing inside at DT.

Good info. I have been wondering if they would move him inside.
