Top stalling is an epidemic. They have to address the rule this offseason. Whoever thought it was a good idea to not require an attempt to turn should be fired into a volcano

You’re missing the point. The past is the past. It’s over. Defending pond scum is an interesting choice.
There needs to be a coaching shake-up. Not saying Tom needs the boot but its time to bring in some new younger blood as assistants. Too many guys stall out in their development too early in their careers. That or they're just recruiting misses. The Iowa brand is too good for those results.
Need some sort of of a push out though to. Warner was mostly stalling on top but caffeey was riding the edge and fleeing engagement the who match till the very end.

Man, some of you guys are plain awful. Brands and Assad simply lost to guys that are CLEARLY better than they are. If they gave you the offensive attempts you wanted(Assad actually did and got pinned) Brands would have simply lost by more. Labriola is a brutal matchup for Nelson. His single leg defense is 10xs better than any of Nelson’s finishes. His ONLY way to beat Labriola is to keep it close late and hope to sneak one in…
but where else is he supposed to go? warner is pushing him there with his spiral ride. a pushout for mat wrestling would the most disastrous rule in wrestling history

This is true. Now explain....almost every one of Nelson's other matches.
Warner doesn't bother me as much as other holes in the Iowa lineup where guys just aren't getting the job done. Warner has proven himself time after time at Nationals and is a valuable team race guy. Iowa just isn't getting it done in some of the other weights and it clearly needs to be addressed. Too many guys that haven't raised their ceilings but have some pretty far drops in their floors.
