Yeah. You're wrong on this one. He has a really big tool belt.
Snaps
drags
underhook
snatch single
high crotch
ankle pick
low single
What you're watching is Snyder taking what's available. Early in his career he was ankle picking everyone. So guys starting standing up more to stop that. He uses his underhook a lot more now and yes, a snatch single. His primary weapon now though, is his snap and snap to a high-c.
He pulls out what he needs. One thing that he's developed since being at NLWC is a driving double. He doesn't quite have the timing yet for it to look like JB, but he uses it well to get to leg(s) - yes, he usually finishes it as a single.
His low single is still there - watch his Olympic Finals match against Sadulaev. It's clear that was a new gameplan that, le sigh, Sadulaev still had an answer for.
It's really hard to turn the best guys - but Snyder turns everyone he SHOULD. I think you need to take a deeper dive into Snyder. Is he far less dynamic than he used to be? Sure - but that's because everyone is wrestling him a certain way - trying to hold him off. Goleij in 2021 did this the best.
