This clip may be the most egregious example of ABC debate moderators' direct actions/inactions to affect viewers’ perceptions of the information presented at the debate.
There are at least seven instances of this within a two-minute span.
This is not “bias."
It’s much worse.
This is direct, planned interference in the debate outcome. When moderators take on the role of “fact checkers" the inference is that the absence of a “fact check” confers validity to the non-fact-checked information.
When one side is repeatedly “fact checked,” while the other is not, that is a signal to the viewer that one side is not reliable and truthful, while the other side is.
The ABC moderators had their orders, and here you see those orders executed.
In this clip:
1) Trump says Pelosi is responsible for security at the Capitol. True. Muir intervenes on Kamala’s behalf by cutting him off with snarky retort, doesn’t acknowledging the validity of Trump’s statement, and immediately redirects to Kamala to set up her “answer" he knows is coming. This is direct action by Muir to affect the outcome of this exchange.
2) Kamala says she was at the Capitol on J6. She was there in the morning, but left to go to DNC HQ prior to the riot. Critical information is omitted. No fact-check.
3) Kamala says Trump incited a mob to attack the Capitol. False. Trump’s “peacefully and patriotically” comments are ignored. Trump is not charged with inciting violence. No fact check.
4) Kamala says that “some" police officers died on January 6. False. No fact check.
5) Kamala recites the Charlottesville “Fine People” hoax. This has been thoroughly and repeatedly debunked. No fact check.
6) Kamala recites the “stand back and stand by” hoax. This is designed to infer that Trump was ordering a “militia” to act on later orders, when he was clearly asking for a cooling of tensions. No fact check.
7) Kamala recites the “bloodbath" hoax. Trump was talking about the automobile industry, not violence. No fact check.
To quote Megyn Kelly on the ABC moderators:
"They did exactly what their bosses wanted."
And whichever way you slice it, it’s not evidence that migrants are eating pets anywhere in Ohio. You need far more than one anecdote. - which has been debunked, to say this.

You know that right now, in every state, family could conceivably ask that there baby not be resuscitated. The physicians might not go along, but they could ask. And there are always discussions between the family and physician about the extent of resuscitation. What’s wrong with you?
As far as full term abortions here is the story. They don’t happen except in extreme cases. The baby is dead or dying with a non survivable condition. The mother’s dying. If the baby is able to survive it’s not an abortion it’s not an abortion it’s a delivery.
What you and your ilk want is for late term abortions to be outlawed. Then, when a mother dies because of her pregnancy, you will shrug your shoulders and congratulate yourself on how pro life you are.
Mike DeWine just held a press conference about the Haitian situation in Springfield:
1) Springfield's healthcare system is strained because many of the Haitians have never been to a hospital
2) That means there's roughly 15,000 people (his number) that may have never received a vaccination, etc
3) The schools are also strained, and there's a big need for language services
4) On Road Safety: There aren't that many cars in Haiti and most people don't drive. Many of migrants don't have licences and have never received driver training. That's creating obvious problems
5) On the Housing Problem: They're seeing people bunched together in homes. The cost of rent is up.
6) They've been consulting about this for months (*cough* thanks Elon for bringing this to the national stage so it's finally addressed publicly)
What they've done so far:
1) Providing drivers ed
2) A new health clinic in the schools
3) Provided support to the local health department
4) Provided funds for translation services and English classes
5) Providing support for the surge of migrant students
What they're going to do next:
1) They're going to surge troopers and patrol cars. This begins tomorrow morning.
2) They're going to dramatically expand access to primary care. A couple million over the next two years.
Federal Government Inaction:
1) It's Federal Government Policy that have created this surge.
2) They're also seeing surges in Findlay and Lima (30 minute drive from me)
3) No community can be prepared for surges like these, and the consequences listed above are the natural result.
4) The Federal Government has to step up because it's their policies causing the problem.
5) These surges are affecting everyone in the community.
6) Lots of talk about how it's American to accept migrants. But, in this case there seems to be no plan.
7) He's not going to address any of the stories coming out about people eating animals. He wanted to address the essential facts. (rightfully so, it's a red herring, the people are what matter)
8) We don't have a good border policy and we need a good border policy.
9) Lots of dumb questions from reporters, so I stopped here, lol.
So nothing about them eating animals, got it.
Being them in, dump them on locals, enlarge and expand every government agency and budget pertaining to overseeing foreign nationals using up social services. Screw over every private insurer and private insurance customer in auto & home insurance industries. This isn’t rape, incest, physical health of the mother. The language is whether the pregnancy affects the “mental health” of the mother, which is vague enough to certify any unwanted pregnancy in the third trimester, including up to 40 weeks.

This doctor said the baby would be born, alive, even if that means resuscitation to bring it back to life and then a decision would be made.

They’d have us believe this is fairly common, when it fact it’s incredibly rare. On those rare occasions, there’s something terribly wrong with the baby. They are NOT having this conversation regarding a healthy newborn.

This conversation only occurs when the life expectancy is 0. Usually no lungs, partially developed brain or heart, some vital organ that is not there than they cannot fix with surgeries, and anymore they can fix a lot. Classmate of mines son has basically had a heart completely rebuilt. Have no idea how or why. In either case they can do some magical stuff. This is just crazy.
