2025 recruiting thread

I have been to figure out if there is a reason Hodge fired off this tweet, or is he just saying this is general? Wondering if Epenesa, or some other big fish has given them a pledge?
I had the exact same thought yesterday. Speaking completely out of my ass, but he is the secondary recruiter on Thomas Meyer (I am assuming Iowa lean), Bell appears to be the lead on Eppy, and Barnett is lead on Brooks.

Yeah, that would suggest Meyer, if it means anything at all.

This could be a very, very good class. WR prospects should be excited about the OC change. Lester put three, yep three, WR's in the NFL. He also utilizes his TE's and had multiple 1,000 yard rushers.

Will lose a lot next year, so there should be a lot of opportunities to play early.

Great to have Conner on board!

ISU OL coach was the OL coach at UNI just over a year ago. Sure they ran into each other a time or two in Cedar Falls.
Valid point, I will say that Campbell is beginning this class with some solid in-state recruits after an absolute dominate 2024 recruiting season for the hawks.

I always knew you were a clone fan. Go back to their board. Coorsoriginal = piss water.
He isn't exactly wrong, and given that Curvey's dad played for ISU, I wouldn't be surprised to see him back with ISU. Iowa needs to have a huge out of state class this year which they have a shot at. Getting players like Pringle, who has an absolutely absurd offer list, Eppy, Cure, etc.

I still believe the NIL stuff is gonna bite them harder. They will have guys leaving to go Big Ten or SEC if they are developed and in demand. I would bet money this coming season is Rocco's last year there.

They must have some NIL money stocked. Their basketball recruiting is pretty nuts, and suddenly they are landing some in-state kids.

Manske and fam are huge Clone fans.

The CF OL kid, where do you think he would actually have a chance to play a lot sooner? We may see him by his junior or senior year.

Limbaugh and Robinson were the wild cards imo. Everyone else was pretty predetermined.

Edit: Limbaugh’s parents are apparently Nebraska grads. That’s going to be a tough one to pull as well.

Tompkins was not a situation like Brix this year, let's put that to rest. However, there are much larger fish for Iowa to go after, that is absolutely for certain. Iowa went hard after Manske and offered early. Xzavion Robinson is going to sting a bit, that is a kid who has been reposting all of Proctors commitment to Iowa, and he will put up numbers if he stays healthy. He looks like Dejean did on the basketball court.
