ISU cats were all over Him on X and I slipped in a quick hit n run that many schools can claim many things but only 1 school on Your list has Phil Parker and He loved the comment .
My only concern is Epenesa , WR and CB the remainder of the Class with current roster construction, they will get RB and OL . rest of the areas LB/S/ TE /QB they have covered and roster is deep in most areasBrooks popped up with another CB on 247 to Georgia. Only a six in confidence, hopefully he makes it to Iowa for his official.
Honestly, I wonder if they are planning on using the portal a bit more, especially for a skill position or two.My only concern is Epenesa , WR and CB the remainder of the Class with current roster construction, they will get RB and OL . rest of the areas LB/S/ TE /QB they have covered and roster is deep in most areas
WR is going to be portal heavy until they can rebuild the reputation of the passing game.My only concern is Epenesa , WR and CB the remainder of the Class with current roster construction, they will get RB and OL . rest of the areas LB/S/ TE /QB they have covered and roster is deep in most areas
Terrance Smith is the big get of this WR class, I think the hawks stand a decent shot at him.WR is going to be portal heavy until they can rebuild the reputation of the passing game.
if they strike out at WR and CB they will have tooHonestly, I wonder if they are planning on using the portal a bit more, especially for a skill position or two.
University of Purdue?Really hoping Iowa can lock this one down on his visit.
We probably have 30 kids on the roster who tweeted out “Blessed to receive an offer from Iowa University! 🙏”University of Purdue?
Why do we care about a Wisconsin commit that Iowa didn't recruit?OT: I saw his dad TY Hilton play as a true FR at Kinnick Stadium in 2008 for Mario Cristobal and FIU. I'm 99% sure it was Ricky Stanzi's 1st career start.
How bout this, are you more interested in this? Why do we care about a Wisconsin commit that Iowa didn't recruit?
White cornerback? No thank you……
Actually it is slightly more interesting because at least we offered him. I posted several weeks ago, that there will be players commit to other schools and fall off the visit list. Johnson and Collier seem to have fallen off the list. Those that stay the course, are patient and visit Iowa for their official visits on June 21st are strong possibilities to be Hawks.
He bought into Brohm's bs?
Found my answer in the crystal balls. I just saw he is leaning to NC State.Looks like Rinehardt isn't visiting on the 19th now. Anyone know what happened?
Interesting. He was our only RB on the visit list. We’ve got a deep room right now so not a big loss but I thought he looked like a good prospect.Found my answer in the crystal balls. I just saw he is leaning to NC State.
Iowa doesn’t get shots at a Iose type talent very often. He’s my number one for that alone.Kind of an odd class this year. In terms of needs I would probably rank the top five as:
1.) Terrance Smith WR
2.) Nick Brooks OT/OG
3.) Iose Epenesa Edge
4.) Carson Cooney LB
5.) Thomas Meyer TE
Don't get me wrong, Iose is likely to be an absolute beast, but the need is going to be offensive talent. Meyer is crazy fluid as well, and people aren't talking about his upside nearly enough, but Gavin Hoffman is going to be the next FantIowa doesn’t get shots at a Iose type talent very often. It is a bit surprising considering his program connections, I wonder if the hawks have another commit.Maguire Richman committed to K state. Not sure if that’s a bad thing though.
I honestly think Utah will be our biggest competition. Lots of family and cultural ties there if lose decides he need to go his own path...
When is someone going to tell Fran that he is 12 minutes behind and a new thread wasn't needed...In the most unsurprising news of the day. Iowa landed Mason Woods. Great get though!
With the Woods commit his scholly was probably no longer available. It is a bit surprising considering his program connections, I wonder if the hawks have another commit.
Let's see when pads are on and under pressure. These shorts drills always look better.ok, now I see what the Iowa coaches were looking at with this kid. Damn, he does throw a nice ball.
I got to imagine that he’s given his verbal based upon that tweet. Time to start watching the CB’s!This would be huge, they must feel fairly confident about it to be tweeting.
