Defensive play early to set the tone is a big deal I think....I'm usually wrong, but I think/hope our end of game defensive effort takes over to start this one. Then this is so basic it sounds stupid, but it really comes down to who's making shots.

We've seen games and teams this year go cold even when not closely guarded and we've seen teams just go off from 3 even against good defense.....let's hope our shots are falling and their shot's aren't.

Agree with this. One of our big issues in losses has been allowing early easy looks from 3 that give the opponents confidence and turn average (or below average) 3 point shooters into Steph Curry.

No truer words, my friend. The Hawkeyes need to be in Ohio State's jerseys from the opening tip. Set the tone immediately, get the crowd going, and let the Buckeyes know it's gonna be a LOOOOONG ride back to Columbus.

The Buckeyes have won 5 or their last 6 with a road win at Michigan, a loss at Indiana, and consecutive home wins vs. Rutgers and Purdue over the last four heading into Iowa City.

Wesson vs. Garza will be the feature matchup but I think 3pt shooting/3pt defense will decide who is the winner of this game. Need a bounce back game from Weiskamp at CHA.

Their most recent loss was at Wisconsin. The loss at IU was back on January 11.

Getting a bit closer to a full house, 2 more sections just down to 2 seats next to each other only, behind baskets big chunks still but should be a solid crowd, still a bummer to see can't sell it out, but maybe there is a last second flurry.
