3 Sports Guys Project Starting Lineup & Whose Roles will be Diminished;theTeam's Ave Height is 6'7"

OP .. I do not know what to say but your relentless posting of other people's work that is common knowledge and/or easily found is annoying. Holy smokes does it ever end? Do you ever have your own insights or analysis? Just post the link
For a radio guy Peterson is usually not real informed on the team he is suposed to be a follower of.

Hes seemingly a casual fan of most sports other than baseball.

I had to laugh too that Peterson actually formulated a line up. He's strictly a loose fan with little in depth knowledge of the players. His evaluations are typically based on the 'fun' element. This is a 'fun' team or that was a 'fun' game. Good guy but no analysis.

If you don't find a thread interesting, simply don't reply to it.

There's a gazillion podcasts out there and no one has time to listen to them all. I happened to listen to this particular one and thought I would share the basketball related stuff. I like Leistikow and Emmert and enjoy hearing their insights and I thought I would pass the basketball stuff along to whomever had not listened to the podcast.

Its an hour podcast and I summarized it in the original post, for everyone's convenience. Is that such a bad thing? Or are you just a negative person in general?

Any way, I guess you did find this topic interesting based on what you said about Ross so I just want to thank you for your insight and contributions.

Is it that hard to be civil?

Hope you have a good day today.

Where I was coming from is I like to read threads from multiple folks on their analysis and opinions but it seems like the forums are littered with your threads regurgitating newspaper articles. I try to read through them but it's often 'what did I learn from this' type of feeling. Have you cornered the market on widely and easily available content? Sorry that's just me.

Hey look it's a sports writer from the Fairfield Bee and he/she thinks this is going to be the starting lineup! That's an exaggeration but you get the point. There a few good articles that get overlooked so bringing them to our attention is not bad but then to me it's just post the link to it and maybe give a very, very quick highlight of the most surprising or noteworthy element. Not posting 3/4 of the article and then saying here's the link to it. Most of us are tuned into these podcasts, hear these guys constantly and see many of these articles already. I'd rather read your own opinion & analysis on it than see something we already know. That's point I am trying to make however poor I made it.

Yeah, Ive always got the feeling Ross is a very casual hawk fan.

Hes not really a sports guy he stumbled into the job being a producer.

Peterson's is the most interesting to me. Moss at the 3 has a lot of potential and Ellingson starting gives us more of a defensive presence while still having a really good shooter on the floor. I like Baer at 6th man, can come in at 3 different positions in relief. Garza over Nunge but not sure about that.
Ellingson more of a defensive presence? Over who? The ball boys? Moss, Dailey and Williams are way better athletes and defenders.

This thread covers exactly what you say you like to read: this thread involves "folks" (2 Register writers and a sports radio guy) and it discusses their analysis and their opinions.

Emmert is the beat writer. Leistikow is the columnist. The Des Moines Register/Iowa City Press Citizen are major news outlets for the Hawks. I think their opinions and analysis are interesting. If you and others disagree, that is fine.

Like I said, there are a million podcasts out there. I found this particular podcast of interest, especially when it came to the topic of starting line ups and minutes and diminished roles, which ALL have been HOT TOPICS on here.

Nice article from the Gazette on Kreiner:

Kriener has averaged 29 points, shot 59.2 percent from the field and 40.9 percent from 3-point range during six games of PTL play — and has stood out as a breakout player in those games.

“Since the season ended until now, I feel like my game has grown leaps and bounds,” Kriener said. “Some other guys are making jumps, but I feel like mine has been a small explosion.

“What it was for me, I was just so internally motivated to play more this year and be a better player this year.”

Keep sharing the information, I don't have time to track down all the articles/podcasts and read/listen to them, I for one appreciate these types of threads. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks =)

It will be interesting to see if any of these 3 guys will be correct.
