James Butler had a rough night. 11 carries for 15 yards and 3 catches for 10 more. Still going on but I'm not sure if he's still in.

If you had to, pick one stretch to make a team, one SUPER stretch to make a team and one disappointing cut.
Stretch- Nick Easley, probably the last man out.
Super Stretch- Butler or Hesse. Butler has some room. Hesse can block but no idea on pass catching.
Disappointment- I think the Pat's cut Croston and throw him on the PS.

Remember when Kirk Ferentz, during the CJ/Jake debate, said Iowa had 2 very good QBs?
CJ and Jake may not be NFL QB1's but they are good enough to make a 53 man NFL roster.

Wilds played just one snap from scrimmage on Thursday against the Los Angeles Chargers. The 49ers confirmed the transaction Friday afternoon.
CB Quinten Rollins
The 49ers released cornerback Quinten Rollins, a source told NBC Sports Bay Area. Rollins entered the league as a second-round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in 2015. The 49ers confirmed the transaction Friday afternoon.
CB Jordan Holland
The 49ers released cornerback Jordan Holland, reports Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Holland, the son of 49ers outside linebackers coach Johnny Holland, was signed this week to appear in the team's final preseason game. Holland played 45 snaps on defense and nine on special teams. The 49ers confirmed the transaction Friday afternoon.

The 49ers confirmed the transaction Friday afternoon.
LS Kyle Nelson suspended
Long-snapper Kyle Nelson held a spot on the team's 90-man roster, but he must serve the final six games of his 10-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
TE Garrett Celek remains on PUP
Tight end Garrett Celek underwent offseason back surgery, which will leave him unavailable until the middle of the season. He is transferred from active/physically unable to perform, on which he accounted for a spot on the 90-man roster, to reserve/PUP, which opens up a roster spot. He remains eligible for a midseason return, if he receives medical clearance

Yeah, I am afraid by Saturday, noon time, the 36 number is gonna get trimmed to about 26 with around 4-6 on practice squads
I have hopes that he makes the team. He did a lot for them this preseason.
whats gonna be interesting is that even if a player gets cut he could get picked up by another team; will be interesting to see how it all shakes out in the end
