The NFL definitely stand for Not For Long
The NFL sky is falling for free agents. The reduction of the salary cap, some new restrictions on contract work arounds to avoid or delay cap pain and the projected even larger revenue decline next year is making teams hinky with long term commitments to any journeymen caliber players. I listen to Kirwin and Miller on SIRIUS, they cover the "Business Season" very well. The pinch is on.
The last time the draft was hosted in person, a couple of Hawkeyes heard their names called in the 1st Round.
