Keep up the good work Fran. I always appreciate your updates. Not many colleges can match Iowa's numbers in the NFL.

As usual, my Bears display their allergic aversion to having any Hawkeyes on their roster. If nothing else, you would think that the proximity of Iowa City, and the exposure of the BTN and others networks broadcasting our games, they might notice what other teams have...that the Hawkeyes are loaded with football players, something they desperately need.
It really is an amazing tribute to the Hawkeye program not only the number of players in the league, but consider their beginnings. Many of these guys were walk ons or very lightly recruited if at all, very much journeyman players at Iowa, and even some like Wade, who while a contributor, had maybe a couple of starts while at Iowa. Yet their hard work, improvement, and what they learned in the program still has them with their shot to play in the league. Each team has 16 practice squad spots so many of the borderline roster players will be added to the PS. Brandon smith in Dallas is likely a practice squad player if he is not claimed by another team.
yeah, today sucks because you initially might think you made the roster but then suddenly might get cut when your club finds a better option
I was skimming through the cut lists and saw Hankins, Cronk, Sargent, B. Smith, Gervase, J. Jackson, Heflin, Goodson also saw former Hawks Cedric Boswell, Dom Dafney and former commits Ross P and Frank Darby

Why ... cut-blocking is perfectly legal. Hell, that's a common thing that RBs do when chipping a defender. Hock is no small guy ... so when he cuts ... it takes a guys feet out.
Some folks are idiots ... that wasn't a chop-block. It was a cut-block. A chop-block is when a cut-block is performed when the defender is already engaged with another blocker.
WTF? There are 3-ish blocks just like that practically every play. Wasn’t dirty at all.
