It's an open event where you are seeded by your time, not age. So they are slow and therefore swim with younger people. Just like a slow born female would.

Take it for what's it's worth, but it looks like these were open races where teenage swimmers can compete against adults. There were other adults competing in these same races, and there are no records of her competing in any kid leagues.

To me it seems comparable to 5ks. Anyone can enter them. You'll have 16 year olds running right along side 60 year olds. But nobody would try claiming that these are kids races.

Take the "trans" out of it, if this is true WTF is a 50-year-old anyone competing against teens? We had parents sneak their HS-aged daughter into a tent to perform a uniform swap with their MS daughter to compete in a tournament we were in.

So this is a regular race that kids compete in. Ok, that makes more sense then. How did the 50 year old do in comparison to other 50 year olds?
It does seem like some sort of age limit rule here could get rid of/avoid this entire weird ass situation.

There's nothing wrong with women's swimming. The trans bashers have selected the sport because of the bathing suit angle. It gives a sexual predatory undertone to their narrative.

Guess I‘m not seeing a big deal here. Unless the kids are being forced to compete with the transgender person. They can choose to find a different league or just not participate.
U do know they have separate areas for privacy. Female changing rooms and bathrooms tend to be way nicer than men’s.

At our local public pool they have addressed this issue on weekends by assigning 1-3pm for 50 and older (we have to get changed and get to Texas Roadhouse by 4pm for the special). 3-5 is for 18-49 year olds and 5-8 is for the teens. That way there are now awkward sitches..
