But, but, but... I want him to dunk more. Conversations about Woody and MG are really the simplest way separate knowledgeable posters from the dolts. It is that easy.

It is two extremes, really. One side says MG and Woody suck. The other thinks they are elite all-american type players.

The truth is both are really good solid role players who have played a valuable part in the rise of the program. Woody is great defensive center who has good vision works hard. However, he is limited offensively and still misses too many layups. Both Mike and Woody will be missed next year, no doubt. That being said, Uthoff and Jok make this team go from bubble type team to top five, imo.

It's like the '96 Bulls. Woody is Luc Longley and Mike is Ron Harper.
Uthoff is this team's Jordan and Jok is Pippen.

And Mike and Woody were important recruits for Fran to start locking down the state, but to say they began the resurgence of Hawkeye hoops is silly. The Hawks started trending upwards upon Fran's arrival with Matt Gatens
