After seeing NOVA destroy Miami

What are everyone't thought on the program? I realize Sunday was hard to take, but damn Nova is playing the best ball out of anyone in the tournament. They are shooting it 60% from the floor, your not going to lose many games shooting it like that.

I feel a little bit better and I think it shows that Fran needs to get some seriously good guards in here.

Yes, it is good to see that Villanova is playing that well. It makes it a little bit more palatable what happened Sunday. And, as has been tirelessly discussed on here, Iowa faded big time starting in February and pretty much limped into the tournament.

Perfect scenario for a buzz saw.

Would have been nice to all of a sudden find ourselves again and at least made it a game. FWIW, I think the January Hawks would still lose but would be a better game.

Agree with this. I mean, to his credit he certainly came close with Ulis. He knows the need as well, but obviously it isn't as simple as knowing... But the adage that guards win in March is so true.

I don't think you had to see today's game against Miami to understand how well Villanova is playing right now. It wasn't like we crapped our pants (at least no more than usual) in the first half of our game. Villanova is playing very well right now.

No, Villanova actually took a shot clock violation on their last possession (up 23 points) to keep from piling on Miami. Jay Wright does the right thing and his teams always respect their opponent.

I think the late 3 was Oregon. But I didn't see the game, so I'm not sure.

Both Oregon and Kansas shot late shots (Kansas one was WAY WORSE). Maryland players started walking toward their bench and the Mason dribbled toward the basket and laid it in as the horn sounded. So it was from 77 to 79.

The Oregon one as well they were up by double digits, just take a shot clock violation. The kid did shoot it from he Logo and drained it, but Duke had backed off, no need to shoot it there.

Fran does the same thing when he has a BIG lead, he always tells the players to take a shot clock violation.

Wright did that against Iowa because Fran didn't pull his starters right away after Nova took theirs out. He said he was worried about Iowa making a comeback, but that was hot air. Just wanted to see his starters put ours in our place at the end.

Yeah. I hate to rain on everyones moral victory parade, but if Nova kept playing in the second half, Iowa loses by 40.

Kind of my point......down 30 something means nothing........They lost regardless of what the score was sometime in the middle of the game.
