Bama does not have a good offense, and their O line is very similar to Iowa's. Henry is Alabama's offense and I expect him to have a tough time getting yards against MSU's defense. The SEC doesn't have any good QB's and that includes Alabama.
Alabama's defense, albeit they are a great defense, has to prepare for a more balanced MSU offense. MSU can run the ball and they have Connor Cook with some great WR's. From what it sounds like, Connor is healthy. Alabama hasn't face a QB like Cook all year, and for the most part they've gotten to focus on stopping one area of a team's offense.

This is close as it gets to rooting for Iowa without Iowa being in the game. We know all the MSU players, tendencies, etc. This is going to be fun.

20 minutes of scoreless football. This one is going to play out similar to the Iowa game the way things are headed. Low scoring, physical, and will come down to the little things and timely turnovers.
I'm going to puke at all rhis gushing about Alabama from espn. It's sickening. Yeah, they scored with 5 minutes to go in the first half, the way they are talked about it should be 40-0 now.

MSU needs to show some semblance of offense or it might just be a slow painful death.
MSU needs to bump the Bama receivers at the line of scrimmage rather than give them 10 yard cushions. Coker is getting in a groove and it's imperative that MSU disrupts their timing.
Coker upstaging Cook big time. He's escaped pressure, taken hits, put the ball on the money and completed 16/20. If Cook doesn't play 200% better in the second half this game is over.
Wow that INT is probably the worst and most costly in the history of the MSU program. They score a touchdown at the end of that half and it's a different ballgame with the momentum they take to the half. Costly is an understatement.
Not looking good for Sparty, but they have a half to go.
