that can turn broken plays in to something and create on the fly. 2009 with Stanzi being the exception. When you have a predictable, methodical offense like Iowa that is easy to scheme against , a mobile adds a much needed dimension. Sunday morning quarterbacking over.

I’ll argue that Stanzi was deceptively mobile as well. Not in the pure running sense but very much like Aaron Rodgers he knew how to extend plays by rolling out of the pocket when it was collapsing or pressure was coming.

Yes mobile QBs are the way to go unless you have a NFL caliber passer.

Under Harbaugh Michigan finally found out the value having mobile QBs.

They got a mobile qb warming the pine. For some reason only known to the coaches they pretty much refuse to see what he can do on the field

We seriously might have the only coaching staff at any NCAA level that hasn’t figured out that you win in college football with a mobile QB. What’s befuddling is that, as was stated, even though a mobile QB was the crux of the most exciting offenses under KF, he continues to sit the guys he recruited for that very thing, despite major offensive struggles. McCann, JC, Rudock and now Stanley (not mentioning JVB, since that cupboard was bare) drive the offense into the ground while major playmakers ride the bench. Unreal.
