I’m sure for as long as they can. Literally every aspect of baseball could be ump’d with modern tech but some people love the tradition and human element. All the umps should have to do is get an electronic signal and do their big theatrical dances they like to do to signal the callare they going to prevent robo umps?

He was an absolute joke. For his entire career. And to make matters worse, he consistently had an attitude. It's remarkable that he reached MLB, as there's fierce competition among umpires in professional baseball.
I used to work with a guy who got up to doing AAA and spring training games, but couldn’t get the call for the majors. He frequently wondered how he couldn’t break through while “that blind asshole Hernandez” was still umping.He was an absolute joke. For his entire career.
