A friend is watching a dog with diabetes and they have vetsulin, they applied the shot around 7 am this morning, but came home around 5:30 and realized they left the insulin out. Is it bad by now?

Insulin for humans can be out a month. That's all I've got.

Not sure, but think it can't exceed a certain temperature, like you'd get in a really hot room. It's probably OK.

Why would you waste money on insulin for a dog?

I'm assuming a new dog would be cheaper, right?
