Having been a fan of her for years, it’s an odd feeling reading these responses. Especially considering all the crap the right has thrown at her since first elected. On this board, in the media, everywhere.
I’d love to agree with them, but I still can’t fathom how someone listens to Donnie talk for 5 minutes and thinks he’s “telling it like it is”
Those folks are just like the Red State MAGAs who have benefitted from the Inflation Reduction Act and are getting federal backing for renewable energy development. Trump and his buds will shut that down, and close billions in businesses that benefitted from that bill.
Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t. We have now a whole generation of people voting that are direct results of No Child Left Behind. One of the most abysmal pieces of legislation ever to get passed.
That, on top of all the misinformation being dealt out? I get the sense that intentions are pure, but they’ve been led astray.
Twitter (and rightwing media-sphere) disinformation has far more to do with this than anything else.
They’re only susceptible due to the lack of education they’ve received. Nationwide, we’ve failed our kids on epic levels.
I think what I’m saying is I’d hope they’d be able to see through the misinformation if they had proper teaching prior.
This is the case for people from 20 to 70.
If they fall into the Twitter-sphere, their brains get rewired.

I have relatives who have fallen into the same rabbit-hole. My sister and other relatives that used to interact w/ them on social media no longer do, because they've gone so batshit crazy.
Both you and I grew up watching Twitter take hold. Watching dearly loved people fall into its misinformation. Not just Twitter, Facebook is now a cesspool.

I do follow a few people (manually); but they are people I have learned are "sane" and reliable info sources.
