Believe it or not, when the president supports a specific agenda, the people listen. Transgender was not an issue until just recently. Biden put the trans agenda on steroids which has increased the number of gender affirming care clinics and has increased the gender dysphoria diagnosis.
I hope you understand the difference between a kid saying they like the same sex vs a kid saying they are the opposite sex and want to be started on life changing meds that will leave them sterile with under developed sex organs and a lifetime of medical care to maintain that identity, and all of this ultimately leading to cutting off the person's penis/breasts/vagina.
Per wpath, 80% of kids who claim to be trans would actually go on to be happy gay people if they do not receive gender affirming care. what is wrong with being gay? Why do you want to turn them trans?
The wpath also says that these diagnoses are fluid and that is just part of the journey. it is criminal to put kids through gender affirming care knowing that their feelings will change as they grow and there is a good chance they will identify differently 5 years from now.
