The echo chamber on here really is something else.
Story from Reuters:
Some 46% of self-identified Hispanic voters picked Trump, up from 32% in the 2020 election when Trump lost to Democrat Joe Biden.
Hispanics have largely favored Democrats for decades, but Trump's share this year was the highest for a Republican presidential candidate in exit polls going back to the 1970s, and just higher than the 44% share won by Republican George W. Bush in 2004, according to data compiled by the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank.
Im proud to say my beautiful Latina wife and her whole family all voted for Trump. My wife for the 3rd time and her family….. for the 1st time. When I asked why they were voting for him it’s amazing to hear what they said. Gas prices are too high, groceries are too expensive and yet our taxes keep going up. Not one of them was concerned about “preserving democracy” or their “reproductive rights”. My mother and sister in law both astutely pointed out, why would we listen to what a bunch of millionaire celebrities have to say about it? They are virtually unaffected. Pretty profound. The left is outta touch and that’s why they lost.
how do they determine these stats? exit polls i presume? and how do they actually break down the latinos into the smaller categories? again polling (as in asking them what's their heritage?)@Franisdaman Can you not with the hyperbole. Latinos did not "overwhelmingly" go to Trump. Try not to further cement your status as a walking joke around here..

Again, I simply wrote that Harris was a "candidate who was pro-abortion."
And when one is pro-abortion it obviously means, by definition (look it up!), that the person favors the legalization of abortion and believes a woman should have the right to have an abortion if she needs or wants one.

This in a nut shell is why your party lost the presidency, the House and the Senate in one fail swoop. Most libs responses so far is to continually insult anyone that disagrees with them. Even super duper lib CA voted 40% for Trump. Clearly the overwhelmingly majority of the country weren’t confident in her ability to lead. Poll after poll showed the biggest issues to Americans were the economy and the direction of our country. The Dems ignored them and instead told them that Trump was a Nazi and they were sexist and/or racist if they didn’t agree with them. America told the Dems to f*ck off on a national level. She underperformed in every county in the country. May be time to eat a little humble pie there.

Bro, I laughed out loud at masks in cars! I’m in LA and everyday I count the number of folks who inexplicably drive around in a car by themselves, with a mask on in 2024. I desperately wish I could interview them and try to understand where their irrational fear comes from. It’s funny and really sad at the same time.

Others have the right idea. Let Trump do his thing and let them reap what they have sown. People don’t like “libs” (anyone not MAGA) telling them what is best for them, even when the “libs” are correct.
