I’m not a liberal. I’m an anti-trumper. But now that people i was trying to help with my vote didn’t turn out, or voted for Trump, IDGAF. People need to take their lumps. Or, Trump can shock me and do a good job. Personally, either way I’m good.

This is what I want. Let Trump do his thing. In 2 years it will be pretty clear if he has the answers or not. If he does well, the you get to reap the benefits. If he does poorly, then dems will be voted back in pretty quickly.
Well they tried, they enacted an inner party coup and selected a candidate that their party didn’t vote for. My father was a DOJ agent when Kamala was AG of CA. In his words she was the dumbest, most incompetent and unqualified boss he’d ever had. She was openly referred to as “Willie’s girl” among prosecutors and agents. She was in over her head as VP and would’ve been doubly so as POTUS. She couldn’t even manage her campaign budget, blowing through a billion dollars! Her campaign reportedly went into debt. Now she’s bitching about high gas and grocery prices! 😑

And yet there they are…letting us all know that we need to call males “him”. It’s in their goddamned profiles. They announce their pronouns when they get up to speak in public. Whether you want to believe it or not, there is a certain percentage of males in this country that can't imagine a woman president. Part of Trump gaining in latino and black vote was due to a Harris running against a 'man'. Trump didn't gain in those demographics because of his record towards those minorities.
Whether you want to accept it or not she performed worse in every country in the country as compared to Joe Biden. That includes all the Dem counties. All the counties where privileged white progressive libs live still thought she was a sh*tty candidate. George Dukakis was sighing in relief as he’s no longer the worst performing Dem candidate ever. Many Democrats were pissed that they didn’t get the choice to pick their candidate when Joe finally bowed out. She received 0 delegates in 2020 when she entered the presidential race vs. Joe from Democrats. Identity politics is a bad campaign strategy. Hopefully it died on November 5th.
If your wife and family are two and three time voters, gas prices and the economy have nothing to do with it.
I think you misread my previous post. My beautiful Latina wife and I are 3 time Trump voters (in LA county where our vote means nothing btw). My mother-in-law and sister-in-law both voted for Joe Biden, Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama 2X. My niece is a 19-year-old first time voter. They cited high gas prices and high groceries as the reasons for their decisions. They pointed out the interview on the View where Kamala said she wouldn’t do anything different. To be clear I’ve never had a political discussion with any of them before. My wife and I were wearing our I Voted stickers and it sparked conversation.
