Are we still embarrassed to lose to Minnesota? Because a lot of people here were ready to declare the end of the world for it.

This year, I think that the only "embarrassing" loss in the Big Ten would be to Nebraska. Now, is it frustrating to lose a game when you are up 7 with 44 seconds left? Of course, and in a year where the Big Ten is absolutely stacked, and wins are very hard to come by, it is still especially so.

The OT loss on the road to a ranked team was not "embarrassing". Far from it. Especially not in this season's B1G.

However, losing after being up 7 with just :44 left on the clock in regulation was very frustrating to watch.

And that loss might mean the difference between an outright regular season championship, a tied one, or being a game out of winning outright/a share at the end of the regular season.

It wasn't so much a bad loss (though I'd still argue that if you're truly a top 5 team, you don't lose in the barn) as it was being so close to a really good win.

Not embarrassed by the lost, just how we lost. Really not hard to distinguish
This. That game was in the bag had we just shot free throws like normal. Regardless of how good Minnesota is or is not, its damn hard to win a conference, especially one as good as the BIG is now, and boot games with a 7 point lead in the last minute......
