The trial of Richard Barnett has started. Of the 1000 or so pieces of garbage who have been arrested for participating in the insurrection, Barnett is one of the most visible, and one guy I want to go to prison for as long as possible. He is the douche from Arkansas who went into Speaker Pelosi's office and put his feet up on her desk.
Forget party, it was an act of utter contempt for our government, and for our shared values. It shouldn't shock anyone that he's not literate in basic civics.

Barnett’s attorney complained after the verdict was announced that DC isn’t a state, and he was unable to get a fair jury in such a Lib city. Surprised neither of them blamed Soros.

A Georgia judge will soon decide what, if any, parts of a special grand jury report will be made public following an eight-month investigation into efforts by former President Donald Trump and his allies to overturn the state's 2020 election results.
The special purpose grand jury, which was dissolved earlier this month after completing its work, did not have indictment powers but could use gathered evidence and testimony to recommend that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis seek charges. Several people, ranging from Trump's onetime personal attorney to Republicans who falsely claimed to be presidential electors, were informed they were targets of the investigation.
Jurors voted to release their report to the public, but the extremely rare nature of the special grand jury and limited legal authority have led to hurdles that could delay disclosure of the findings.

Weird that Trump hasn't been there for any of the people who went to DC at his urging. I swear I saw once that Trump said he was raising money for the defense lawyers of the people charged in the coup attempt.
