We can go back 15 years. Again Iowa has five top ten finishes in 15 yrs. Average of every 3 yrs.
Cornhuskers have ZERO.
So, what we really want to do is go just far enough back to cherry pick the true Iowa glory years of 02-04 and 09, pretend 15 wasn't flukish and ultimately unsatisfying, while ignoring the bowl results and win totals comparison of the relevant and recent B1G years- which was/is the topic of the thread.

If you really want to talk about losses to MAC or MVC teams, since 2012 Iowa owns TWO losses to MAC teams, including dropping the last one against NIU, along with a nice loss to Missouri Valley Conference NDSU.

Nebraska was winning 9 to 10 games a year before Riley. Umm yeah. The right ADDRESS coach would have them owning the West. Nebraska has been bad the past 2 years and still can out recruit the rest of the division.

I know you're pretty stoked about that one top ten finish in 2015, but aren't you a bit worried that the last bowl win was seven years ago? Like I say, these are the kinds of things people look at when evaluating where Iowa's at as a program and making decisions...
