*****Auburn QB Hank Brown COMMITS to IOWA while visiting Dec 12 & 13 (3 Years Eligibility)*****

Will you people start to figure out that 5 Olineman and even with 1 TEnd cannot block consistantly against 8 men in the box and you cant get rid of 8 men in the box until you burn the opponent with your passing game. There is going to be penetration in this situation.

It is like the variables in an equation and they all have to balance out correctly. I can only hope that we can get that consistent passing game of about 63% or so completions, maybe higher, and 200+ yards a game or more. Then the opponents safeties will be back and they will have a lbkr out wide covering a slot receiver or TEnd. Then it might be 6 on 6 blocking in the box making it easier to run and pass.
I had never thought of that. 🤔

Iowa only attempted to pass the ball 242 times, they still allowed 15 sacks. That 242 passing attempts is ranked only above the service academies for attempts. I would not say they had great pass protection.
Well how many seconds did the QB have before under duress. How many on average were the defenses sending. 5 guys blocking 6 doesn't usually work. Not like the defenses feared our QBs.

This is all true. It's very difficult to judge anything given the lack of any passing game whatsoever. I personally think the oline played okay. Not great. Not bad. Just okay. QB's made them look worse than they were and KJ made them look better.

Since I broke the news, I'd say it's a good thing for depth at the QB position. I'll even do you a favor and bump this thread. Still waiting for confirmation on that Ewers news from a credible source.

You didn't break any "news." As EVERYONE KNOWS, this was a done deal on Tuesday and the only thing that would have undone it is if the visit these past 2 days went horribly.

But, hey, keep patting yourself on the back if that makes you feel any better.

You are such a little man you have to change the title of your thread. I honestly don’t give a shit, but it is laughable.

Again, feel free to post whatever nonsense and attempted insults that make you feel better about yourself.

And you clearly "give a shit" about who posts what; otherwise, why bring it up and why are you so clearly upset?

And good grief; get over yourself. You act like some kind of expert on here but you clearly are not (NONE of us are).

Lmfao, it’s going to be ok little man.

Yep. Give us a night game for some Kinnick magic.....

Oregon comes to town on Nov 8. Hope they don't mind the cold. ;)

Next year's schedule:

KSU receiver back in portal, think we can get him to come back? do not want to say his name so I do not scare him off we are talking about him...

seems like Auburn fans were pretty high on this guy and wished he'd played more games. big arm, throws a good ball and has good football intelligence. More mobile than Petras and is comfortable in the RPO game. Could be a steal.
When watched his high school highlights I was impressed by his pocket presence! Might not matter given next year’s schedule! Brutal to say the least!

I posted this on Wednesday, as well, but in case you missed it:

Hank started vs New Mexico on Sep 14. He was 17/25 (68%) for 235 yards and 4 TD passes.

His highlights from that game:

He looks big and slow with a slow delivery. Hopefully the other guys can beat him out. Evidently Lester went to school with his parents or something..
Please tell me this isn't a real thing.

I hope Lester is going after more than just this guy at QB.

New Mexico was damn near the absolute worst defensive team on the planet. And Brown also made some really, really bad throws in that game when he wasn't busy completing his 4-yard slants.
