Back story - hauling a trailer today hit a slick spot in the rain, jack-knifed the trailer and mooshed the right rear quarterpanel/bumper on my pick up. Sent a pic and got this reply -

" ...it's an old truck and it's only CALISTHENIC damage....could have been worse".

I think it should have AESTHETIC (or esthetic). Auto-correct or WOB?

Pic of truck?

No, seriously.....to whom did you sent it?

It wouldn't have been "aesthetic," though. I've never seen that word used in this kind of context. My guess is that it's a WOB (or egg corn; let's not get into those weeds again) and what your correspondent meant was "cosmetic."

Translation..
I want to point out that I don't agree with the definition of WOB, want to point out ehat I think it is, and not have anyone say anything about it.
No, just putting up a prophylactic against the dicks I expect to attack me.

Cosmetic...I didn't think of that. I see a pretty painting, and I think, "that's aesthetically pleasing to the eye."

I still can't decide if its auto correct or not.

Well, we know for sure it isn't auto correct. It might be truck correct.
