B1G East RBs in 2015 ...

Again, the top RB in the B1G is at Ohio State, with Ezekiel "Zeke" Elliott is very special ...

We saw that in 2013 with Carlos Hyde.

I don't believe Corey Clement should be given preseason all-Big Ten honors quite yet. He has never been the #1 running back and was not among the top 10 rushers in B1G games last year. Mark Weisman ran for more yards in B1G games than Corey Clement, fwiw ...
Clements stats were all after Melvin Gordon created challenges for DC and game plans.

Looking at the RBs:
  1. Justin Jackson, NW - He out gained Clement in B1G games only with 106 yards per game for #7 in the conference, during his freshman season ... (J.J. is backed by junior Warren Long again).
  2. Nebraska's 1-2 of senior Amani Cross and junior Terrell Newby may be the top unit in the B1G West?
  3. Minnesota - could the unit under Jerry Kill outperform Wisconsin? Freshman Jeff Jones is projected behind senior Roderick Williams and freshman Rodney Smith as the first replacement for David Cobb.
  4. Corey Clement, UW - He was "overshadowed the past two seasons, the junior now gets his chance to shine in the featured role of Wisconsin's offense." The reason I am lowering him is the offense features former Pitt OC Joe Randolph and former Pitt HC Paul Chryst. Even the 2014 Iowa Hawkeyes beat Pitt on the road? BTW, #2 RB right now is projected as RS frosh, Taiwan Deal?
  5. Illinois senior RB Josh Ferguson is back. Junior Henry Envenihi projects #2?
  6. Iowa's RB committee - Senior Jordan Canzeri, junior LeShun Daniels, sophmores Akrum Wadley and Derreck Mitchell, Jr. may surprise some opponents in '15?
  7. Purdue's RB situation projects as freshman Markell Jones and sophmore David Yancey, as Akeem Hunt and Raheem Mostert have departed.
Keys to any of the rushing attacks will be the play and development of the offensive lines ...
