It will be interesting to see you Jok fares on the All Big teams. He certainly is one of the top 5 players in the conference but his injuries and missing games are going to hurt him.

Just amazing that Pemsl and Ellingson are shooting that well.

Ellingson's stats are built on limited minutes. Hopefully those %'ages transfer to Jok or, it not, Ellingson maintains his proficiency in Jok's absence.

Besides Ellingson's shooting numbers being excellent from the floor, he is also 100% (18-18) from the free throw line. Maybe even better yet, he has committed only 7 turnovers in 339 minutes, or 1 every 48.4 minutes.

Yes Brady has earned respect in my eyes this year and have been impressed with his play i really like having another guy who can stretch the floor.

We have such a deep team I'm glad he didn't transfer like a lot of iowa fans wanted. I'm not hearing that talk this year at all anymore.

I don't tape games, but it is hard for me to believe that Baer doesn't average at least 3 steals and 3 blocks per game. Are the stats kept by someone who likes to check out the scenery in the stands?

I thought he had at least 4 blocks against Rutgers, but maybe I'm missing something.

I thought Swanigan was vastly overrated last year as a freshman. If Iowa's kids make half the improvement Swanigan has made from freshman to sophomore, book those Final Four tickets now, Hawkeye fans.

...and oh, BTW, Swanigan is 112/141 at the charity stripe (79.4%). 12th in the conference. I am assuming he is leading the conf in FT made.

Both guys, compared to now, really struggled last year. Maryland ran that same flat four last second play that Iowa ran. Didn't work with Trimble either. I hope I never see that play again.

He was getting some real phantom calls today when driving to the hoop. A couple of times Purdue defenders swiped or touched the ball (and only the ball) when it was in Trimble's hands on a drive and they were called for fouls. Officials know Trimble's reputation of getting to the FT line multiple times a game (Trimble snaps his head back or to the side quickly to make it look like he's getting hit when he really isn't) and now they are just enabling him on plays that should be no-calls.

Yep, and unlike with Jok he gets to the line without having to limp off a hard fall. The senior star treatment in the B1G is great... if you're an experienced team.
