Barack Obama apparently hates Ohio

Sure Ohio isn't telling Alaska what to do. William McKinley is only from Ohio.
Well, Barack Obama is from Hawaii. So, by your logic, Hawaii is telling everyone else what to do.

Yes, William McKinley was from Ohio. But he was also the President of the United States. It's not like he was just a senator or governor or something. And the mountain was named in his honor by the United States Congress, who passed a bill in 1917, and President Woodrow Wilson, who signed that bill into law.

So, no, Ohio isn't telling Alaska what to do.

And yet he still kicked the republican nominee's ass two elections in a row.

If only we would judge on more than election results then maybe they would spend more time fixing problems and less time trying to influence the their next one.

Two election wins does not make him less than an egotistical incompetent iron fisted tyrannical boob - it just makes him worse.

Yes, the republican Congress has spend a lot of time trying to fix problems the last 3 terms. LOL.

And if an "incompetent" "boob" can beat the best the purportedly better, smarter, richer, and better-funded republicans can put up, one of two thing is true - the republicans are incompetent or he's not.

No, his election doesn't. His actions as president do. Our country is in a whole lot better shape due to his election than it would have been had he lost those elections.

There is no way for you to know that only a President Obama would have made things a "whole lot better". It is your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it but it is not a fact.

This is truly a silly argument you make. If you can't see the difference between winning an election and then governing then there is no conversation we can have - they are two distinct and different parts of our process.

Using your logic then the Democrats were incompetent when Bush won both his elections.

Hmm. Of the 35.6 million people that make up Canada only 317,000 actually classify themselves as Cree. So that is less than 1% of the population of Canada. What were you saying about me not knowing what I'm talking about or my ridiculous post?

Maybe you should just stop for a second and realize the comparison you made was a dumb one and then maybe reflect on "lessons learned" so you can be better next time.
1. So they have not all moved South as you claimed. Guess you learned something
2. Only in YOUR world are 317,000 Cree insignificant. They feel strongly that they own the land and want it returned to them. Go tell them that they don't matter.
3. You have changed your focus with each post so by now no one even knows what point you are arguing.

I have no problem with this. You guys love fighting about politics and that's cool, but from what I gather, Natives or not, It has been known as Denali forever. Faux rage imo.

Silly argument. You called him incompetent. You didn't say he only governed incompetently. Getting elected is what politicians do first. He can't be incompetent and win two national elections. You may not like how he has governed once elected, and you may not like him personally, but to call him incompetent shows your disregard of the basic facts.

And, yes, I agree, putting up a bad candidate in 2008 and running a bad campaign in 2012 didn't help the republicans, just like the bad candidate the democrats put up in 2004 didn't help things for the them.

Good thing it's not a key swing state at election time. King Obama has once again chosen to bypass Congress and use his almighty executive order to change the name of Alaska's Mount McKinley to "Denali". The move corresponds with his upcoming trip to our nation's 56th state. It is an egregious affront to the people of Ohio - the home state of President William McKinley, who was gunned down in cowardly fashion by leading liberal Leon Czolgosz in 1901.

Denali is an Athabascan word meaning "the high one". The White House claims this move is intended to honor the traditions of the native Alaskan people. But it's pretty obvious the real intent is a shameless endorsement deal for General Motors.

Actually, this is one of a very few decisions that Obama has made that I think was the correct thing to do.

You really have to go back to the original post I was responding to on the incompetent comment in order to grasp the sarcasm that you missed at the begin or our exchange.

Got a solution to this. Alaska officially reinstated the original name back in 1980 for the state of Alaska,

Interior Secretary Jewell officially reinstated the original name this week for the US (it wasn't an EO).

Ohio can pass legislation that calls Denali Mt. McKinley in the state of Ohio.

Everybody's happy.

i'm feeling abnormally benevolent tonight, so I'll allow this compromise.

I think Alaska missed a golden opportunity here to package an endorsement deal with General Motors.
